  1. like jordan jefferson? or jarrett lee? I think we will either see Jordan Reed or Jeff Driskel next year at the helm ...brantley will likely still be there, but he is not the right qb for the spread system meyer wants to run... more of a chris leak guy, but leak had 4 years as a starter and didn't "perform" until year 4...this is brantley's first year as a starter, which is why meyer is still sticking with him...(for now) really? Please all he did was throw for 2 500 yards his freshman year 16 TD's, 3 200 his sophmore year 29 TD's and 2 700 his junior year 20 TD's. He's one of the all time greatest quarterbacks in the history of college football and I find it ironic how a quarterback only gets labeled a "preformer" if his team wins a national championship.
  2. Also for the record considering how bad South Carolina's secondary looked last week against Mallet. I'll take Florida at home -10. I hope South Carolina wins, but they've never won in Gainesville and I don't expect this Saturday to be the first.
  3. Please, please, please. Never confuse my beloved Golden Eagles of USM with those farmers at Mississippi State. USM plays UCF to try and preserve any hope of the CUSA East title. Whoops my bad. Gator, so much did it actually cost for AU to get Cam ? I'm thinking the current estimates are a bit low. I put the over/under at $500K. Gotta pay to play in the SEC. I think we will find out later rather than sooner now we hear he was caught cheating at uf 3x. gawd, if he was cheatin' off tebow i'm stunned he didn't flunk out! how in the hell do you expect to cheat by writing someone else's name on a paper? That's like trying to screw them over. What an insufficiently_thoughtful_person there is no way to possibly benefit off doing this. his father told the folks at MSU that his son would only go there if he was "payed to play." Auburn according to ESPN agreed to pay his father and cam newton called MSU and told them that he was deeply saddened by all of this. If this is all true what his father (Cecil) has essentially done is pimped his son and I can't imagine how this would affect his ministries. I'm sure he would go to jail, the churches would be shut down and the money would be refunded. Reminds me a lot of Jim Bakker scam and is an extremely sick thing to do. Auburn is getting ready to get NUKED by the ncaa. I really feel sad if florida or south carolina looses to auburn in the championship game or for arkansas or lsu for not being there. That means south carolina and arkansas need to get a win back if they cheated and the south carolina/florida game means nothing this week as south carolina would have an additional win because of auburn cheating and having to forfeit. I'm pretty sure if it comes to all of this these affected universities could (and should) take legal action against auburn for possible television and bowl payouts as well as stakes at conference and national championships. It hurts them badly. until this allegations are proven COMPLETELY 100% false it would be a DISASTER to give him the heisman trophy and perhaps like reggie bush force him to give it back. The NCAA will take forever on this so it will be 2100 before we probably know.
  4. That's the year I was born... Dear Gator, What year were you born? 1967 you young kids with your long hair and rock and roll music gator, will uf beat usc[east] and go to atlanta? will auburn lose to jawja and 'bama? will lsu win out and play uf? will enuff happen in the top 4 to give lsu the chance to beat uf and be in the big one? did oswald act alone? lsu's going to loose badly (mark my word) to arkansas. Arkansas should have beaten alabama and was very close beating to auburn. I predict the final power west will be: West: 1) auburn 2) arkansas 3) lsu 4) alabama East: 1) south carolina 2) florida 3) georgia arkansas can play in the top 10. South Carolina over Florida because Florida doesn't have a quarterback. Next year they will have a stud true freshman qb (Tim Tebow like), but this year I like South Carolina over Florida at Florida. sec championship: south carolina vs. auburn winner will be auburn south carolina and florida will not make it to big bowls this year because of all the good teams in the west.
  5. let's just hope they are still #1 after next week HAH.... the idiotic BCS put Auburn at #1. So the Ducks stay at #2. All that really matters is where they are at the end of the season You're kidding right? Auburn would beat the hell out of Oregon. PAC10 football ain’t shїt compared to the SEC.
  6. I disagree... my top 5 is 1)alabama (yeah, I know, SC beat them, but I think we all felt that was coming) 2)south carolina (will lose to Fl at home) 3)florida (unless we lose another one before SC ) 4)Auburn (will lose to Ala) 5)LSU (will lose to Ala and one other) SEC for third year in a Row is Florida vs Alabama Florida lost 31-6 to Alabama and South Carolina just beat Alabama by 2 TD's. Auburn ran over South Carolina in the second half. very true...by that logic, FL destroyed a KY team that barely lost to Auburn...we could say that lsu barely beat a really bad tenn team...we could say that auburn barely beat a really avg kentucky team (see Fl reference)...we could say that SC struggled with a bad GA team... 1 game doesn't make a season... head to head, Ala beat Fl...that is why I have them above Fl... SC did beat Ala, but I don't believe that SC is the better team, given their loss to Auburn, and Auburn's and LSU's unconvincing wins... etc, etc... my top 5 list is just as valid (and of course biased) as anyone's at this point in the season (thumbs u Florida might of actually been a national title contender this year if Cam Newton was running the spread. he certainly is turning some heads, isn't he... he is the best player in the sec and the best player in the country. i still have sc playing auburn for the sec title. sc should have beat kentucky but like when they plaid auburn they sat back and quit playing because they were up at half time.
  7. not this year cameron newton will win the heisman

  10. The top SEC teams this year in order as follows: 1) Auburn 2) South Carolina 3) Alabama 4) Arkansas 5) LSU SEC Championship will be Auburn vs. South Carolina or Alabama vs. South Carolina
