Thank you for the help hereHas anyone tried the Epson wf-7610 or wf-7620 for scanning CGC slabbed books? I need a new printer and saw those two at Staples. I of course didn't have a CGC book with me, but those two were very wide and long. Thanks guy!I can't say with certainty, but I would guess you are likely to get blurry scans of slabbed books. It isn't the size that's the problem with most current scanners, it's the scanning technology they use. There is a discussion of this point earlier in this thread.

Thank you for your advice! Is this the HP 8250 that many of you guys have here? Just making sure before buying one for CGC books. Thanks guys! That's one of the ones on the list, but be careful it's not been tested AND
does not have the AC adaptor.
They might still sell the adaptors on Amazon, but I'd check before buying one unless you have an old one that will fit.
I got an 8300 on eBay shipped with an adaptor and tested for about $70.

I am curious to know that as well. What, how there Gary Oldman SS?! -
I thought I would get a better response here than the b/s/t forum. Does anyone here have a nice high grade copy of Mad #180?
You mean a copy that they're willing to sell? Or just a high-grade copy? About 85% of my magazine issues of Mad are high-grade, from #24 up to about #300.
Yes, I'm looking to buy a high grade copy.

This is the first time I have received lower grades on books that were already graded before by CGC. I guess we as collectors all go through this at some point or other when submitting, but man it sucks.
A few notes on the books I sent, the Vengeance of Bane was a Christmas gift one year from my parents so I wanted to get it graded just for that reason. I knew it was not going to be a super high grade book. Also, the TOTZ was bought raw off of ebay. It was listed as 9.2 by the seller.
I'm still a little new to the CGC grading game but like I said, I guess overall I did ok. I will post photos when the books come in along with a few other CGC books I've gotten back recently.
Thanks guys

Great looking Joe books man, I love them
I've often wondered if Stan Lee's signature belongs on any of the SS G I Joe books. Did Lee have anything to do with the series other than the Marvel name in general?
