  1. Oh, no contest. Big Trak circa 1978. Thankfully Think Geek has a new albeit 1/3rd scale version available; but it's almost always out of stock. http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/rc/de2e/?pfm=Search&t=big%20trak
  2. Whisp, how do you find all those appearances, especially his very minor appearances (like the single frame in Shadowland)?? Do you actually scower every book every month, or do you have a crack team of folks who let you know where they spot him??? Inquiring minds want to know! And fwiw, I REALLY appreciate your updates! They same me a ton of $ and work!!! Kudos and Thanks!
  3. My "To: me From: Santa" splurge this xmas...
  4. well .. Back to the LCS. Hope they aren't sold out of decent copies.
  5. I picked up the ShadowLand: MK... Is he really in ALL those other books too?
  6. Hmm interesting. I wonder what Copper age books have some staying/growing power.. Maybe the BillS run of New Mutants? , Maybe my run of The Elementals will finally be worth something?
  7. Speaking of variants, this arrived yesterday.. It and a duplicate unsigned version for $20 on eBay. One of the rare "steals" on eBay. edit: Oh, and have you seen this?!?
  8. Yep, 2. From the census: Grade Universal Qualified Signature Series Restored See Detail Total Mint 10.0 0 0 0 0 0 Mint 9.9 0 0 0 0 0 Near Mint/Mint 9.8 2 0 0 0 2
  9. Unfortunately, the highest is probably in the 6.0 range... You can see a scan of the signed one on the "spare a grade" forum here: http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=4207805#Post4207805 One is slightly better than that one and one is slightly worse. edit: I purchased them all in 1997 or earlier and have been mostly out of collecting for the last decade. I'm blow away at how much WBN 32 has increased in value; I think I purchased all 3 for under $30 total.
  10. Here's what I consider my "key" books from my MK collection including my item above... ...missing a 5th WBN #32 and an MK Vol. 1 #1 both out being graded... Thumbnail below; links to a rather large image if you're bandwidth constrained... notice the top raw copy of WBN #32 is also signed by Stan Lee.
  11. Picked it up yesterday. Not the greatest copy (9.4ish?), but the better of the two my local shop had. Also snagged the 2 Hardbacks I was missing from a sales thread earlier in the week... Oh and check out my latest acquisition. One of only TWO SS series #32's higher than a 3.5. Arrives today; SOO excited.
  12. Yeah, I'm pretty sure Comics Feature is a mag. at least according to this: http://www.comiccollectorlive.com/Index/CoverTitle.aspx?id=f1941844-4cf9-4f67-a173-bbdd3b62ebfd
  13. BTW, it looks like you're missing Amazing Heroes #64 and #181. 64 is an actual appearance, and 181 is an interview about Moon Knight with Sal Velluto. and Comics Feature #8: http://cgi.ebay.com/Comics-Feature-8-Moon-Knight-/6619473467?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0
  14. So awesome to stumble across as avid of a Moon Knight fan as myself. You've got quite a collection going. I may have you on shear volume of copies (I'm approaching 5 complete runs of each of the series and almost 10 copies of WWBN 32 along with a full run of WWBN), but you far surpass me on random appearances, etc. Anyway, the difference in the price markings you mention are direct sale versus news stand. IIRC the diamond is the direct sale version (comic shops, etc) and the other is the regular news stand. Anyway, awesome work! I'm now going to use your list of appearances to complete my collection as well! Moon Knight is essentially all I collect for the same reason you seem too. Thanks for the inspiration! edit: I'm always on the look out for original MK art, especially from the BillS days. PLEASE drop me a line if you see any!... Also, I started collecting LONG before the CGC ever existed. Whats the best/easiest way to get some of my MK books graded? edit2: You would probably appreciate this MK original art. I've been trying to get the owner to part with it for a while now.. The image itself is too big to show here: Moon Knight Original Cover art
