  1. This rise in this book has been pretty amazing. I bought my MT copy a little over a year ago for $25 and I thought I paid too much at the time . I think the recent Arkham video games helped bring her character more into the mainstream. Some of my gaming buddies never heard of her until they played the games. I think she is her to stay. I don't know if the current values will hold, but unlike most recent rapid rises in first appearances this one is not due to a movie.
  2. I just picked up this series and its a great fun read. I like the classic feel and it reminds me of the old serials.

  4. You can't really compare WD to X-Files or Preacher or all that other stuff since WD had a smaller print run etc. The closet comparison would be TMNT since they both started as comics that ended up on TV though TMNT has immersed itself much more into the pop culture than WD has or ever will. However, I think the WD will follow something similar to TMNT. It is ultra hot right now, but at some point people will get their fill and it will fall out of favor. As with any market bubble it will pop and prices will suffer for those issues that were highly speculated. The true key issues will drop but will rebound to their corrected values and still be desired like TMNT did.
  5. Here's a couple of sketches I finally got around to uploading. The Kenneth Rocafort Wolverine blew away all my expectations I had and I just love it as well as the Rich Burchett Joker.
  6. I know this thread has been focused on the 1st issue, but I just bought issue 2 and the dealer had it listed as a 2nd print. I am comparing it to my first print copy and they are identical from what I can tell. Does the 2nd print have different ads or say 2nd printing somewhere? I'm just wondering if he had it mis-labed or if my 1st print is really a second print. Thanks
  7. Nonplayer 1 still seems to be selling pretty well ($15.00 to 25.00). This is even with the very long delay for the 2nd issue which still has not come out due to the artist recovering from an accident
  8. I think there is museum quality glass you can buy. Most of the stuff I've read is that its not 100% but does provide pretty good protection as long as indirect light sources are used etc. I have no idea how much it costs. I've only displayed lower grade doubles I have on my walls and keep high grade stuff in a dark drawer for fear of fading. Also, using auto tinting on the windows might be worth a try too if you still want to see outside.
