It doesn't quite get me in the FF#1 club but I can post it with pride here...

This was a Chrismukkah present from my amazing wife. Just love it

Awesome. Great cover and sig placement

I'm not 100% sure. There are 2 signed 9.6's and 6 signed 9.8's of issue 1 on the census but unclear on which ones Joe signed. Would love to see a pic of your book

Avengers/Invaders issue 1 signed by the late great Joe Simon

Just picked this up...
Pretty big book for me. Been looking for a nice Joe Simon SS for a while and being a big Cap and Invaders fan, this was the perfect buy

Thanks for the heads up. Managed to order 2 copies online so I should be covered

Went to buy Revival 2 this lunchtime but it was sold out already. This was at Forbidden Planet in London. Bit surprised to be honest.
Wonder if someone just came in and them all up in one go?

Odd, but look what I found
"Created by Afrodisiac writer/artist Jim Rugg for The Ghost, The Walking Dead #101 Ghost Variant cover is unlike any WD cover to date. It features fan-fave Michonne wielding her trusty sword in a ultra-cool retro 70′s motif. It is only being offered by a very small group of retailers across the US and Canada."
Great....more variant covers

Thanks for the welcome!
Just Silver Age appearances at the moment. Not looking for super high grades but books that present really well. So far I've got an FF4, Thor, X-Men, and ASM pre 1970 along with a few SS books. Got my eyes on a nice Cap and Daredevil next
My boy is only 9 months old but he's already showing an interest in Marvel. Like his daddy, he is a big Silver Surfer fan!

Here is a pic of my recently redone display. I was tired of all of my books languishing in their long boxes inside a dark cupboard so I decided to get them up and into my bookcase...
Top shelf is mostly Silver Marvel with some Bronze. Near complete Silver Surfer V1 collection and lots of Avengers and Daredevil. Underneath that is my modest collection of 11 slabs (hidden behind the Avengers book.) I'm quite new to the graded game so I'm building this collection slowly. Want to get a silver book for one of each of the main Marvel characters to give to my son when he is older
Below the lightsabers is my DC collection. I actually inherited the entire collection from a cousin who passed a few years back. Some wonderful Batman and Superman in there. I added lots of DC 100 pagers as they are my main focus for DC
It's not much, but it's mine and I love it. Really excited to start picking out stuff to read with my son in a few years. I want this to be a collection that's enjoyed by us both in the future

Wife just bought me this for my 31st birthday. 9.6 Silver Surfer #1 Vol 3 SS signed by Stan Lee and Doug Jones. Very happy with this one

Just last night I inherited a 300+ DC collection. More of a Marvel guy myself but I'm pretty chuffed with it. After having a quick look there is nothing super valuable here but there's lots of it. These belonged to my Cousin Steve who recently died and it looks like it is his childhood collection. Condition is average (and in some cases pretty terrible) but there is something about owning comics that have been read and enjoyed. Really looking forward to getting everything bagged and boarded and in some kind of order
Here are a few pics
Mix of UK and US comics - usual suspects like Batman and Superman but also lots of Wonder Woman, Superboy and Jimmy Olsen stuff. Instant DC collection!
Also picked up a few nice Marvel bits last week
Highlights include 3rd issues of Silver Surfer and Iron Man and some movie based Thor issues

I'm kinda new to the FF so if I'm honest I didn't notice that. I'm also surprised that CGC didn't note that on the label. I wonder if it was taken into account with the grade? Very odd
