There was a CGC 7.5 old label on eBay (moderate color touch) for a few hours today. Blue label only

I used to own the Chili 1 9.6 and the Peter the Pest 1 9.4 copies. They were both sold to a friend of mine.

Good for the consigner. Looks like these sales will raise prices on any copies 9.0 and up. Never thought this book would ever achieve 1/10th of these prices. Do you guys think this is a real sale? Confirmed sale. Luke cage is on fire ! I regret having sold my 9.6 copy many moons ago.

Metro is sending most/all their raw books to CBCS to be graded. When the customer then asks to have the book CGC graded, like I did, the books come back with lower grades. CBCS : making sellers happy.

and this is based on what ... his opinion (or perhaps his inventory) ? Then it's just that. I'm a new collector ( started 5 years ago ) and switched from Silver to Gold with zero regrets. As for his assessment on Bronze books, it's the speculative bubble that will almost certainly eventually burst ... give it another 5-10 years and double/triple the census numbers on any of those books.

I think AC was the year before in 2011 and yeah, it would certainly be exiting to see a fresh OO come to market in the next couple years. Been a while.

Rick, when was the last notable OO GA collection that surfaced ? Was it the Billy Wright collection back in 2012 ? Also, would you expect to see at least one come out in 2016? That might be like guessing the lottery...

If all goes well, I'll be adding a couple more blues.
