  1. @CGC Let us know when you have the book in hand. Also, will you be purchasing ALL books that have slipped through your system ?
  2. I wonder what it will command. Seriously gorgeous copy. Yes. Highest graded by a mile. I'm sure Eric Roberts will be VERY interested in it. nope, he is pretty much done collecting comics (at least that's what he told me not too long ago)... I would be shocked if he was a bidder on it... Did he/Will he sell off his wonderful collection ? I actually own his former Tec 47 9.0 but I figured he passed it on after he managed the lone 9.2

  4. Is it normal that a book would not yet have been received a month after it was graded (Feb 14) ? Shipping within the US. Service used: Express Service cost: 100 USD
  5. I experienced this yesterday ! He's THE grading expert and everything else is beneath him. Anyway, he can take his GA inventory and stick it. Thankfully, there are other dealers out there with just as nice inventory to choose from besides this joker.
  6. Yes he is willing to negotiate but when you are talking about a 9K book, proper grading and possible restoration issues are quite important, at least to me. Because other boardies have already mentioned that his grading wasn't exactly spot on, I wasn't prepared to take any chances. He doesn't share the same opinion so screw him. I'll find the book elsewhere.
  7. Inquired on one of his books. The guy is a totally off the deep end Well he has been known to be a tad irascible, but I've never had a problem with him. He does sometimes suddenly mark up books if he notices a high auction result. Is that what happened? Asked him if the book we were discussing could be CGC'd prior to deal closure. He flipped.

  9. Yeah, and the original asking price was what ... 2.3k or thereabouts IIRC
