  1. I like change. It's just the remaining bugs/or feature requests that need to be sorted out.
  2. Nah, no need. They read our posts. Some of our suggestions were already taken into consideration, namely getting rid of the zoom function (magnify glass) for large scans.
  3. The Tec 37 from the same OO of the Tec 38 was first graded 7.5 then 8.0 Universal
  4. 7.5, it was a beautiful copy 8.5 It was offered on ebay and also on the boards a while ago.
  5. +1 Most definitely as this is the first time that I can remember a copy of Bat 1 going for less than its condition guide value as this copy here sold at a 14% discount to guide: https://www.comicconnect.com/item/854566 I am quite sure that the Slightly Brittle pages had something to do with it, but maybe Mitch's doom & gloom Covid-19 prognostication might also be kicking in here, especially for some of these high dollar value books that tends to show up in every single auction. Buyers are probably being a bit fussier in this type of economic environment for these types of books since they know that they can be more selective. someone made off with a great buy, brittle or not.
  6. Can anyone tell me what the slight restored Tec 38 ended at ? I had the book in my watch list but now that the auction has ended it no longer is there Also had the Tec 45 8.5 under watch, same thing. Not an easy book to find in that high grade. @ComicConnect if possible it would be nice that watched items stay even when the auction closes. Thanks.
  7. It isn't, for some books not even close.
  8. If he is then how about you submit the CGC label ? The serial # is still valid and that means still 1 4.0 on the CGC census when in fact there shouldn't be.
  9. The good doctor's Tec 36 has gone thru several 'manipulations' and grades. It currently looks like this
  10. Holy cow This is a fantastic price (144K) for a restored Supes 1 https://comics.ha.com/itm/golden-age-1938-1955-/superhero/superman-1-dc-1939-cgc-apparent-fn-60-slight-to-moderate-a-2-off-white-pages/a/7229-92076.s?ic2=mytracked-lotspage-lotlinks-12202013&tab=MyTrackedLots-101116 Likely hoping for a scrape job to get to it blue label.
  11. most if not all these 'books' are IGB super-restored copies IGB are a husband/wife team that take resto to the next level. They call it 'restoration', most would call it 'recreation'.
  12. I'm with you Leroy. Plus after having seen the 1993 video posted in this thread, I would have wanted it even more.
  13. How do we go from $78k for a1.5 just a few days ago to this? wow ! great price for a 4.0
  14. I think I'll create a couple shill accounts and bid up the book to a gazillion dollars ...
  15. if at first you don't succeed, try again https://www.ebay.com/itm/DETECTIVE-COMICS-27-CGC-9-0-1ST-Appearance-BATMAN-BRUCE-WAYNE/293569471339?hash=item445a1aa36b:g:YTAAAOSwp49esI3N
