    I can't think of a single GA superhero book that has those kind of census numbers. +1 I can't think of a single GA book, unless it was part of a huge warehouse find, that would have even close to a quarter of this census number count. Batman 1 266 copies graded to date.

    Looks like the price in the last auction might not be a fluke after all. It's nuts. I just don't understand paying so much for a book that's plentiful in grade, particularly at these prices. This. Although I don't expect this one to sell for 90K like the last one, if it does I might have to be hospitalized.

    OA bidders follow a very different strategy than comic bidders. 300K and not even a full day has gone by... wow ! My bet is it will beat the GL 76 OA price.

    So you think there are less than 100 of each book that survived ? Haven't checked the CGC census numbers for both books but guessing still about 30% (or thereabouts) of surviving copies yet to be graded.

    I put AC1 and Tec 27 at 71% to 80% CGC graded

    All-Star 8 CGC 9.4 - $936,223 on eBay on 8/27/17 CA 1 CGC 9.4 - $915,000 on Heritage on 8/12/19 (two years later and only 2.5 months ago, yet no trumping yet) and all the other grades ? also, if there was only 1 CA 1 in 9.4 (as there is for AS8 and highest grade at that) I'm sure auction would have ended up higher.
