I only submit under Modern Slow Tier.

My last 3 batches of books have been "Verified" in 14days, 8days, and 1day from being marked "Received". My current batch is now at 16days in "Received" status.

It seemed that there was a moment in time when things were going to get better.

I am a Modern Slow Tier submitter so obviously I am in no hurry. But I still suffer from impatience which is compounded by the fact that I never have any idea what to expect from a performance perspective.

I liked it.

By the time I saw it my expectations were pretty low though.

Has anyone ever had their status move backwards from QC to Graded? This happened to me today and I was curious what it might mean.

 

probably means it didn't get through quality control, that they caught an error, and sent it back to get corrected

Today (Day54) was delivery day for my last 2 batches of Modern Slow Tier books, received in March and April. Current batch is stuck in Graded.

The shorter turnarounds were nice while they lasted. Hopefully we are not heading for 100+ days again.

Modern Slow Tier is slowing down.

18 days and the books aren't even verified.

My last batch was verified in 1 day.

I got 12 books back today and the grading was VERY tough. Very tough.

 

However the turnaround time was record time for me and I submit all my books at the slowest tier.

 

At 53 days that is a full 2 weeks faster than my last batch, and 63 days faster than my worst batch. This is a huge improvement and the faster they grade 'em, the faster I will submit 'em!

In fairness, I need to make a correction to my earlier post. I got 12 books back this week and the grades were SPOT ON. They were not tough. There were a few spots that I just plain missed before I submitted the books.

Still the best, most consistent, and trusted grading company.

I like the tight grading.

If I wanted loose grading I would submit to Voldemort.

Happened to me today and I am just trying to figure out what that might indicate.

I don't know what has changed but I submit all my books in Slow Modern and my turnaround times are on fire compared to historical averages, and I am grateful for it.
