  1. I think the reason people haven't submitted any is because it isn't on the list on comic book magazines that they certify. Perhaps you can change that... CGC Comic Maggazine List
  2. Finally got around to taking photos. To answer both questions: Yes, I believe my collection is well curated. Yes, the shelves and boxes come Ikea and as you can see moderns can work. To maintain a consistent size / design each personal collection book (that doesn't get graded) is stored in: a golden age mylite 2 with a magazine backboard trimmed to provide full support inside of a magazine top loader examples using each 'age' I own: golden / silver / bronze / modern
  3. Photos will be added in the 'got a comic room' once everything is done, but I will snap some photos tomorrow of how I organize my personal collection.
  4. One of the final two (still waiting on the other) pieces to my comic room remodel arrived today and I couldn't wait to share it with you guys. (already sent the second photo to Tim Seeley and Mike Norton via Twitter, in which I received the following response from Tim: NICE!! I wish my house was that "adult!")
  5. I don't know about collectibility over long term. The pencil covers are priced 2.5x higher for her art so perhaps she views them as originals. Any Revival cover is a good deal especially since no physical original art is produced for the interiors. If the series takes off, I can't imagine what the covers will begin to be sold for through Cadence. (see current Walking Dead covers / pages for examples)
  6. have you asked Jenny if she'd be able to get you the contact info for the owners of #1?I haven't. That is a good idea. Perhaps after Christmas.
  7. Not professionally because the dream is to acquire the #1 pencils and have the pair framed together. Photo coming by the end of the week of my Revival display. (waiting on the final piece)
  8. The reason why the graphite versions are all gone. I was lucky enough to get the graphite cover to #1 before the comic came out and to keep my OA collection consistent I bought each one I could afford. The plan was to only get the covers for the first trade, but the cover for #6 was too good to pass up. So, I own #1 - #6 plus the graphite version for Larry's 2nd or 12 variants. (the literal and figurative sister image to #1)
  9. What is up with Spider-Man #667 1:100 Dell'Otto Variant? Those prices are bonkers! I'd prefer a low grade ASM #1 for the same price.
  10. I love it. By the end of this week I should have a Revival themed comic wall remodel to share as well.
  11. Question: Do other boardees (I include myself) have books they don't post because they don't want others to get the same book done?
  12. Question - Does the 30 day rule also apply to refunds?
  13. just arrived... (posted in two places for those modern collectors that don't check the WD thread)
  14. Good books at great prices packaged well. Thank you.
  15. I enjoy this thread so much. Before the book was released (early digital) I ordered a NYCC from Dre. At that time I was thinking about trying to go after it all (OA and all the variants) to make some money with the rationale that maybe I would get lucky like I did with Revival... Then I read the issue and didn't like it. I thought maybe I should still get everything, but then realized that there are other books to buy and invest in. People don't have to buy variants, they choose to.
  16. One would hope it would never be featured there. I guess if Brett Ratner decided to direct the series from a -script written by the guy that wrote 'Boat Trip'.
  17. My entry into the contest (part 1) Real life sisters (and a Rafi bomb).
  18. This just means I can buy more OA and #1 1st prints with less competition. Larry, thank you for supporting Revival, the variants are going to / do look great.
  19. So...I guess I'll be able to unspoiler my signature soon since the show is catching up to the comic.
  20. Speaking of needing both parts, care to give me the cover you have to #5? Touché.
  21. It will eventually find its way home to join its sister cover... Seeing the Walking Dead #48 cover framed made me realize I need both parts.
