  1. Thats the plan...just deciding if I want to do it here or the bay of e :D

    what issues did you get?

    Walking Dead Weekly 2,4,12,18-22 ,23x2 ,24 ,26 ,27 ,29 ,30x2 ,31 ,32x2 ,33,34x3,35x3,36x2,37x3,38x2,39x3,43,44,45

    Regular Walking Dead 76, 80

    New Xmen 128, X Force 3, Morning Glories 2

I found a TON of new 52 stuff but is anything worth picking up to sell? I mean like multiples of almost everything except number ones and justice league. I think I saw like 150 copies of batwoman 2.

  2. Is this the walking dead thread?

Funny that this spike is happening when the comic is at an all time low. I quit reading it in trade because it was boring and only watched part of the first season of the show for the same reason.

If I had any of them I would have already sold them. Anyone left holding these a year from now is going to be kicking themselves.

All of these comics are reprinted 1000x over...trades, hardcovers, weeklies...anyone who just wants to read can do so without paying out the nose. This is being fueled by speculation not casual or new fans.

Sooo, what you're saying is that you haven't read the comics or watched the show in over a year. But you know that everything WD related is currently boring. hm

The show was only mediocre. I saw a recent episode by chance and it was even worse than the first season. The production values seemed much worse than I remembered.

The first 40 something issues of the comic were a decent read. It got really old after that and I kept going into the 80s hoping it would get better but it did not. It just got more tired. Maybe after a few more trades come out I'll check it out at the library and give it another chance, but probably not.

I'm sure I'm not the only one that isn't jizzing in their jeans over the book.

I do wish I had some to sell to some of the crazy mo fos buying them on eBay though.

I would never jizz over any of my books thats nasty!!! :o

1 I always wash my hands when I touch any of my books and 2 jizzing in ones pants is well to put in clean words just uncomfortable

What's the point deduction for jizz stains on books??? :shy:

depends on whether or not a CGC representative witnessed the jizzing.

  5. Why should she cling to outdated production methods? Comics are printed from digital files so it makes way more sense to produce the art digitally.

More and more artists are going to go digital. Some older artists will switch, like Brian Bolland, and others will keep doing it their way. They will eventually be the minority as the next generation of artists comfortable with computers takes over.

Some day comics will be produced and released digitally and there wont be any paper at all. That may be a long time coming, but I believe it will probably happen in my lifetime.

Prices will come down when all the printing and everything is eliminated and maybe more people will read comics once they are easy to get and cheap once again.

  6. I thought the PGX rule was just to keep the CGC from advertising for the company that is basically a joke to everyone here and their competition. The PGX comic may as well be raw so there really isnt any incentive to keep it slabbed and sell it here secretly that I can see. I wouldn't pay a premium over a raw copy for a PGX slabbed book...I may even pay less since I cant inspect it.

Where is the incentive for sellers when it comes to listing a PGX slab vs a raw comic?

We all pay a premium for the CGC grade/label/slab but PGX is the laughing stock of the forum.

  7. Who else has been selling PGX slabs? Allegedly.
    linky dink

You are mine you little, bitty troll.

First I don't see this as trolling, I see that he busted you and you are upset. Wow that sounds like a threat on your part.

Let's not take this too far off point there, 8milemax. These two have been going after each other with little mouse daggers for quite some time now, prodding one another playfully.

And when Rupp had his second sales thread and folks were still stating they were all PGX books (and looked just like the Iron Man books), I asked him via PM for scans, which he provided. Every book was a CGC slab.

    I stand corrected

He was baiting some people and it worked, and probably too well.

Rupp is a naughty dog that must be spanked...and have his nose rubbed in it!

I wish I knew why him and Green are mortal enemies cause they are both super awesome. They should combine forces instead of beefing.
