PS4 has faster ram, but otherwise the specs are similar. Forcing the Kinect on everyone hurts Microsoft from a price perspective for sure. I preordered a PS4. I'll eventually get ONE just not at launch...probably after at least a 100 price drop and there has to be a halo game. Maybe if the do a Halo edition if it looks good I'll pull the trigger in fall 2014.

I like Mass Effect quite a bit...the first game is a bit of a slog, but the story is good after that they are easier to play without feeling the rpg grind as you mine for resources and stuff. Killzone is sweet especially in 3D ...Fear I lost interest in but the first couple were fun. Its always fun to slow motion headshot people. Resistance is one of my favorite franchises. I really enjoyed the first game a lot and the others are alright too.

Xbone is 500! damn...Oh well I'm not getting it until the new halo and that was announced as 2014...and usually its november 2014 so that gives me a year with my ps4 before I even think about Xbone

Xbone is spiraling into the dirt with hardcore people online, but most of the people that are going to buy it dont even know it exists yet and wont until they see a commercial around thanksgiving. I expect Sony is going to be doing some advertising pointing out all the shortcomings kind of the way cell phones are advertised now. Star Trek is terrible and Aliens has been as cheap as 9.99 online because it is really that bad.

i need a 2nd bluray player and a decent one with streaming runs 150 to 200...might as well pick up a ps4 if its 399 or so. I dont think sony is going to come out of the gate with a 600 system again.

I like the virtual console and ps1 and ps2 games you can buy on psn they are all affordable and it offers a legal way to play your old favorites without having to purchase a vintage system and keep old cartridges and disks around. What stinks is when you have to buy the same game over and over when they change systems.

Backwards compatibility is expensive if it requires a whole different architecture (chip). Thats why the ps3 was 600 bucks when it came out. It had the ps2 on a chip in the machine and did ps1 emulation with software I believe. The ps4 is a whole new easier to program for system that is not compatible with ps3 software. They would have to put a ps3 and ps2 chip in the machine and drive up the costs to offer backwards compatibility. They are working on some kind of cloud based emulation for old games, but not every game will probably be available and no word if you have to repurchase the game to access it in the cloud or if you can some how prove you own it and play it from the cloud for free. Honestly I have the first version of the ps3 and I have never put a ps2 game in it more than once or twice. The part that sucks is the downloadable games on live and psn that dont carry over. It seems like those should be easy to make work.

Awe man I loved the dreamcast. PS2 rocked. PS3 does too but it was very expensive and I bought it anyway and enjoyed many years of service from my launch unit that is still going today. Worth it for the best bluray player you can buy that also plays games. I had actually gotten rid of my xbox 360 but had to buy another one when halo 4 came out. This last gen was more fragmented, but I bet the next has a more clear winner...or maybe game consoles are kind of over since most of what they do has nothing to do with games and there are other cheaper boxes that do everything else. If PS4 had Halo I might never buy another microsoft console.

It looks like a vcr I'm not buying it until halo 5 comes out...PS4 is a launch buy.

There are still stacks in hastings...of all the recent variants...like 20-30 Age of Ultron, Guardiants and Thanos...They reached over saturation and I quit picking them up except by request.

I remember around the time the aliens vs predator movies came out I found a bunch of aliens vs predator books in the .50 bin and put them up on ebay and people went nuts out bidding each other. Some of them ended up selling for hundreds. Then people came to thier senses when it was time to pay. Sometimes people get in the heat of the moment and just want to win no matter what. It just sucks when they dont honor thier bid. Its even more common now that there are not negatives for bidders anymore. Anyway, my point is that sometimes a crazy price is legit, but that doesnt mean its getting paid for.

Gameboy Advance was the best hand held...I kind of miss it. I have to say I much prefer the graphics on the advance to the poor quality 3D graphics on the DS and its kin. Its like PS1 to maybe early PS2 3D graphics. Not impressed.

You should return the pictures to the girl or girls if you can. I'm sure they would like them back.
