  1. Just received books from Sharon this morning; and they're as beautiful as the seller who's sent them! Thanx Sha! To be continued of course...
  2. Some Joe Staton & Bob Layton goodness from skypinkblu (Sharon):
  3. Just received these today from one of the most excellent boardies here:
  4. Just purchased a book from Sharon; excellent communication, great packaging, and beautiful item! One of the greatest 5-star sellers & board members I've ever done business with. Thanks, Sharon! Sandflea (Craig) P.S. - To be continued, of course....
  5. To date, there are 3,425 raw, 6 slabbed...
  6. Thanks; noticed that also. Thank goodness there's a registry for it... (thumbs u
  7. Just received these today from "fee-Bay"; price was too reasonable to pass up:
  8. RE: Avengers King-Size Special - Thank you very much for the great deal on this book. Will do business again with you soon. (thumbs u
  9. I believe he has done that experiment over 1 years time, and the results were that there was no noticable difference in the comic that was displayed and the control. Exactly. That experiment was done with a CGC'ed book, displayed in a bookcase in a room that gets plenty of indirect light throughout the day. Even after a full year of being subjected to indirect light, there was no discernible fading - the before & after scans were near-identical (and any variances in those were probably due to different lighting conditions as I was scanning the book). There's no doubt that if the book had been placed in the path of direct sunlight, there would have been noticeable fading, though - perhaps I'll try that next Fascinating...simply fascinating! I applaud you, sir!
  10. Relatively new to these boards; how am I doing?
  11. My personal thanxs to skypinkblue(Sharon) for the auction chores... Thanx again!
  12. This very positive feedback is in response to Auction #126... Just received the items today, and I must say, these are very beautiful books! Lightning-fast shipping, and vault-like packaging! A pleasure doing business with you, and hope to do so again in the future! Thanx again!
  13. Found this one at a campus record store; indica date is December, 1965; paid $2.50:
  14. A "Bronze Age" GL/GA week for me, with a Shazam #8 for the finale:
  15. Thanks for posting! Amazing Adventures #12 is a fantastic book. And it's another magnum opus done by Gil "The Picture-Frame" Kane. Ya know, those yellow PFs are a sight to behold. Much like the black ones, the yellows are in a class by themselves. The Bullpen nailed the marketing concept with that four-color approach. Contrasting colors on a yellow background snap the action to attention when deployed in a PF layout. (thumbs u
  16. Being a "noob" on this site, and, in an attempt to "keep up with the Joneses", I've decided to throw this one out there to contribute to this interesting thread: Awesome looking books, interesting thread concept! I salute you, guys & gals!
