Thanks! I did read through it quite a bit. I remember bringing it on road trips to read in the car. I definitely just want to get this graded for nostalgia and display purposes. -
This was one of my favorite comics (and I believe one of the first I got) as a kid which is likely why it looks well worn. There are a lot of issues with it but I think I'd still like to grade it and put it up for display. There are what look like punctures on the bottom of several of the inner pages (see picture with red arrows) - is that something that would have happened during the printing process?

Interested in what this one would grade as - I do see some issues with it like the spine and the bends on the top right.

The top left bend doesn't seem to break color (I can't really tell, my eyes suck!) - it's hard to see the bend at most angles.

I hadn't thought of doing a clean and press, but now I'll look into it. Is it preferred to do it through CGC or do people normally do that locally?

I recently started looking through the comics I had growing up and I'm thinking about getting some of them graded, mostly because I wanted to display them. The comics have been bagged and boarded and in boxes since the late 90s when I stopped collecting. I'm probably starting with this issue and wanted to get an idea of the kind of grade it would receive.
