Hey guys,
I'm looking to sell a Sub-mariner Comics in a 8.0 universal grade, but before I do I was wondering if there was much interest for it.
Any thoughts from golden agers would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Bruno

Id want to go for an AF15.
They are just going up so stupidly at this rate I'll only be able to afford a page.

Don't do it!
I mean this with respect!
Online has less overhead and less risk.

Signature series for sure.
That's my thoughts as well, but for example I have a ASM 129 that I'd like to get signed by him.
-
Hey guys,
Would you get Stan Lee to sign a hulk 181?
The book will be for me to keep, and to pass onto children when I pass.
What would you do?
Also, might get Len Wein and Roy Thomas to sign. Feedback appreciated.

Good for you! It's a great journey and I am only a few books away myself! I need nine books that I have listed in my sig line below and then I need to upgrade a bunch that I got before I was serious about the condition of my collection
You have all of those graded? Very nice!
I know that particular challenge! I'm about 50 short of my 1-544 (including price variants, variants and reprints) goal now but 1 & 4 are the 2 big books left on my list.
Best of luck, good sir!
What's next for you after?

Could I have one copy each of the X-men 1 cover?
-
Upload the X-mens!
I always love to see those!
Pleaaaaaaaaaase?

I'm coming too!
Wife is joining me as well.
Would be cool to meet some of you (not all )

Next stop... Bankruptcy.
My goal is to complete from 1 to 300.
I'm about 50 short including #4 and #94
But your sig line is beautiful.
Great collecting goal right there

Agree. They want their cake and they want to eat it too.
Doesn't work that way.
If they want a refund, they should send the item back.

Man I suck ar grading. I would have given this a 9.2, 9.4 with a press.

Just bought off of David! Super cool dude. The original shipping was supposed to be $10. It was 7 instead so that's all he charged. I know it's only 3 dollars but honesty is honesty.
Would definitely buy off him again!
Thanks for that SS4 David.

I think that's a great way to look st it! Hope it all goes well!

Gotta revive this dead thread
Finally joined the club.

Reported this. I hope this closes. This is a cancerous thread, from someone who wants advice but doesn't listen or make any positive changes.
It's just attention seeking that has derailed from its original topic. Comics.
Best of luck but until you eat your humble pie, realise nobody owes you anything and that if you want to achieve goals you have to play the rules.

Really interested in this as well and have some questions regarding drop offs

.. like I want to get a strike here? .. no thank you. Besides, if you're not that bothered JL .. Scroll past.
Telling people to PM you stuff for things you would get a strike for if you posted it publicly should get you the same punishment. I didn't open this can of worms and honestly I have no idea what you're talking about.
Its clearly politics and if you're telling people that they shouldn't post here or engage Gabe based on his political or religious beliefs than yeah, you deserve a strike.
Is it that hard not to personally attack someone on the boards? no.
Says the boards' moral authority Jimmy Linguini, the kid who once yelled an obscene sentence to a female reporter on live television. Thanks for your insight. I wouldn't expect you to recognize something objectionable.
Jimmy Linguini... Now, this got interesting. Where did he do that?

That many bids, to be honest seems like a shill.
I'd contact ebay.
Also, when bidding on items and you know that the shill is there in this case, bid your highest, wait till he retracts and snipe at last second.
-
Just saw it.
Also, he's not living on his own.
Please can we close this thread and stop feeding the troll?
-
Would you mind sharing?
I just gave some advice, if it's not going to be listened to and this is just a waste of my time, please let me know.

That is a lot of stuff...
A LOT.
You can tell he loved the Superman...
With all the money he spent on it, I reckon he could have had an Action #1.
And who knows, maybe he does.
Good luck with that!
Sub-mariner Comics #1 - 8.0 blue label
in Golden Age Comic Books

Oops sorry
It's a 1 and the PQ is cream to off white.
It does have a minor amount of colour touch on the cover but it's a blue label.
