  1. it has gotten to the point where I am looking for books that I think Frank is going to need. Just trying to plow the way forward.
  2. super human accuracy, incredible strength for his size. World's first mutant?
  3. wow what a beautiful 4.5!!! presents very nicely. nice dark inks! well done!
  4. if anyone is looking for a The Kid from Texas #1, mine is up for sale on ebay.
  5. Pretty sure that Kid Colt 97 is in the same boat. I looked back quite a ways through this thread to look for a September cover date RK 18 and couldn't find one, but apparently they exist.
  6. there are separate tables for each book with several entries for each. Since it was published bi-monthly, I suppose it's possible.
  7. I also find it interesting that CGC lists no variants for TGK 60 despite Overstreet's claim of a hand written 60 issue.
  8. has anyone else noticed that there are two cover dates for Rawhide Kid 18? According to the CGC census, there is a September and October cover date. I've seen the October, but never the September. There are several slabbed September cover dates.
  9. oops. that Witch Doctor is kind of lame, but the cover is dynamite.
  10. There are about 3 splash pages in the 58 that would convince anyone to include them. Even if it is a "oversize freak bison", it still makes for a heck of a monster.
  11. I have all four, but didn't know if you can include the 100 and 107 since there is no Kirby interior art. Almost feels like it is a prerequisite. Or at least Ditko interior art.
  12. Are Two Gun Kid 58 and Rawhide Kid 22 considered to be in the realm of pre-hero Marvel? Both have excellent Kirby interior art with classic "monster" villains.
  13. Kirby did the cover of 48 and an interior story on 52, I believe.
  14. I'm hoping for an upgrade on my 58 and the 60 looks pretty nice. don't really need any of the others. I'm due to re-sub with CGC and will slab both with my four freebies.
  15. I just picked up a another fine or better copy of 58 along with a VG copy of 60 yesterday on ebay. Can't part with my 59 til I find a better one. Got both plus a few decent other throw-ins for $150
  16. has anyone ever seen a Two Gun Kid 60 that DOESN'T have that hand written issue number on it? Or Kid Colt 97 for that matter?
  17. LOOK AT KID COLT'S VEST! IT IS THE ORIGIN OF JACK KIRBY'S CRACKLE! THANKS JOE MANEELY!
  18. Hello Everyone, I've been a marvel addict for nearly 40 years (since age 7) and I love anything from the silver and bronze age. I've been a member for several years but just started posting recently thanks to some great tutorials on how to post pictures from some great members! what a wealth of information to have at my finger tips, not to mention the friendships! My name is Jim, my friends call me Hook and here on I've chosen Gunsmokin' for my love of silver age marvel westerns.
  19. wondered who finally popped for the big money on the comiclink RK 17 and the comiclink auction. both are the two nicest copies I've ever seen. great pick ups!
  20. isn't that Black Rider Rides again listed on Comiclink yet? Great book by the way!
  21. since we seem to be showcasing our "kids" lately...
  22. Yes, I do believe I have this down now. One of my two TGK 58's
  23. a little off topic, but I thought these were cool. just sold them on ebay. If it doesn't work this time, maybe Killgrave can come to the rescue again.
