  1. I would like some advice on a situation I am having. I sold some fairly high dollar books and the buyer put the :takeit: on the books. I still have not received payment. I know about the 30 day probation wait nomination. The problem is when I ask for info. about payment for the wire transfer all I get is "The bank/I am looking into it". I ask for copies of the receipt with no result.

I sent the buyer a copy of the paper work I received by the bank via PM and e-mail to him when he bought the book's.. I have not once been bad tempered in my PM's with the buyer. It has been 20 days.

Is there any something else I should be doing? Or is this most likely ending up with a probation nomination?

  2. A upgrade is what I am planning in the not so distant future. Profit from the sale, add a few bucks. There ya go. That's the plan anyways. I would love to own a nice looking 4.0 - 5.0 copy. For me that is good enough. The next time that book would be sold is when the wife and I retire and want to do whatever the bleep we want to do. Well, I'm retired. Just waiting on the wife to start making plan's.

  3. Finding this book in relative high grade is really tough to do. I think the fact that it is a black cover just makes it that much harder to find in high grade. Dr. Strange isn't on the cover. So it is possible the book was over looked when it was first released. The CGC seems to grade this and other dark/black covers a bit easier as well. So finding a real high grade copy will lead to higher prices.
