  1. $4-5K for a cover less copy seems high to me. I wouldn't go any higher than $3,500 It is the cover that is missing after all.
  2. It has been a while since I posted this book. So here it is.
  3. I would like some advice on a situation I am having. I sold some fairly high dollar books and the buyer put the on the books. I still have not received payment. I know about the 30 day probation wait nomination. The problem is when I ask for info. about payment for the wire transfer all I get is "The bank/I am looking into it". I ask for copies of the receipt with no result. I sent the buyer a copy of the paper work I received by the bank via PM and e-mail to him when he bought the book's.. I have not once been bad tempered in my PM's with the buyer. It has been 20 days. Is there any something else I should be doing? Or is this most likely ending up with a probation nomination?
  4. The book looks better than a 9.0 Very nice indeed. $200k asking price.
  5. Now this is a club I like and can join. This is a de slabbed CGC 4.5 OW/W Pages copy. Doc Ock has to be one of my all time favorite villians.
  6. Don't you worry we will. Thanks Anyone want a nice raw, un restored white page 8.5 - 9.0 ST 110?? He He He
  7. A upgrade is what I am planning in the not so distant future. Profit from the sale, add a few bucks. There ya go. That's the plan anyways. I would love to own a nice looking 4.0 - 5.0 copy. For me that is good enough. The next time that book would be sold is when the wife and I retire and want to do whatever the bleep we want to do. Well, I'm retired. Just waiting on the wife to start making plan's.
  8. When I bought my CGC 1.5 AF 15 off of Ebay. It made a bit of a splash here. I paid a little over $3,500 for it. It has the potential of a re sub 1.8 - 2.0 So I bought it at the right time before the book went crazy in price.
  9. My top 2 are AF 15 and a ST 110. Based on value only. I also have a few tough to find books as well.
  10. Case closed. Nominate him if you want to.
  11. I can't see how he can be put on the probation list here. The deal had nothing to do with this site.
  12. I have been thinking about possibly selling my raw copy. It is a nice 9.0 White Pages, could go 9.2 without much concern. I'd say 85% chance of a 9.2 What would this book be worth in the market today??
  13. I own a 9.0/9.2 White pages raw copy. When I saw that last sale price I was way beyond happy. I posted a picture of it in this thread. Crazy number on this book. But I won't complain at all!!
  14. Finding this book in relative high grade is really tough to do. I think the fact that it is a black cover just makes it that much harder to find in high grade. Dr. Strange isn't on the cover. So it is possible the book was over looked when it was first released. The CGC seems to grade this and other dark/black covers a bit easier as well. So finding a real high grade copy will lead to higher prices.
  15. My copy of ST 110 is in this topic. It is a high grade copy in the 9.0/9.2 range.{raw}. I am quite happy to see these book's selling at a pretty good clip!!
