Yeah... i guess i should just get it signed then... was hoping for some new holder tech or something that kept the edges from folding in, and this being one of the more rare Joe Madureira books, i wanted it to be graded... but ill settle for Raw with signature. Thanks ^_^

I know im necro'ing this but, Is this still their stance? Been Holding out on getting this signed hoping there will be some change in their encapsulation that allows Museum Editions... So, 2018, they still dont grade Museum Edition books?

Got my Madureira JLA #6 Sketch Variant (the one i wanted most ther than the original art!) my LCS ordered me 3 more coming next week.. so now i just need B&W and Color version... if i end up getting both... i might just leave the 4th in the polybag. (i assume you can feel the thicker cover of the blank cover if it was an original art suprise... so no need to open to check?) Also, comic book shop found Joes Original Art. (Cyber City Comix) Funny story about that... the book was sitting on the rack and some random customer opened the polybag to read the book (i guess?) and left it there. Cyber City got super mad that it was opened... until they saw what it was... then they were super stoked! ... im currently talking to them to try purchasing it... (i have the biggest Joe Madureira Collection in exsitence!) Theyre unsure what theyre going to do with it right now though... so... we'll see! im keeping my fingers crossed! (anyone know why the original sketch edition is labeled as #7... is the regular #7 polybagged as well? would it have come in a #6 polybag? im super confused... if i was trying to get an original sketch edition... was i buying the wrong polybag?)

That TV is one of the best CRTs you can have for Retro Gaming on NES/SNES/Genesis With SCART and RGB... if you use any HDTV for any console after PS2... youre making the game look and run worse... retro games are made with CRT taken into the consideration... games often used the scanlines and colors CRTs produced to render shadows and other tricks.you SHOULD be using CRT for retro games... ! Anyway.. More Comics and Toys in My bedroom (which has the PS4, 2 360's, 2 PS3's and another Wii.... i keep the NES and SNES and an old 360, and Wii in the front room for guests.)

Looking to send in this book... but i have no idea how or if CGC handles books like this. Its Xin Legends of the Monkey King Museum Edition Artist Proof. Would the uncut edges affect the grade?

im still searching for Inhuman #4 and #6 Mad variants... those are the most difficult Madureira books left for me to get. (because i have everything else hes done!) (one of these days im gonna have to do a photo session with my Mad! collection... its absolutely bonkers)

My SDCC score: Joe Madureira Skottie Young Ed McGuinness fun little story... I missed out on Todd McFarlane signing wristbands during SDCC every single day (damn you sdcc for letting others in early!!!!) But I did catch him hanging out at the image booth by himself! I explained to him that this Spider-Man #1 (silver cover) was my first ever "Collectible" comic which started it all... i was 8 when i was given this book by a cousin, and even though ive had lost of comics before hand... this was a #1!!! of Spider-Man! so i stopped mishandling my comics and started collecting them! (this is the exact book ive held onto for 25 years!) he was pretty hyped by the story and was super excited to sign them for me! After 15 years going to SDCC... this is actually the first time meeting and getting a signature from Todd McFarlane!

Its Not much, but im a HUGE Joe Madureira fan... and have a HUGE Joe Madureira collection...I Finally got Spider-Man The Manga #28 (i have #29 too) This book was seriously hard as hell to find and i dont know why... low print? i think like 3500. Harder to find than Guardians of the Galaxy #2 1:200 Mad variant even...(i have 1 of the 3, 9.8 ss) I dont see a single one of these Slabbed yet either... guess im gonna have to get that yellow label next time i see Joe.

Ill add mine here... got it signed back @ Wondercon 2011 (bought the book originally for 75$ too!) Campbell signing it! (at Art Adams booth .) Here it is next to my Campbell signed Danger Girl Figures! Seriously one of my favorite books ever... feel so lucky to have gotten it... and one of the rare books i felt the need to CGC. (most books i get signed are personal so i dont care about slabbing them too much... but occasionally theres that rare book like this or my GotG #2 Joe Mad variant)

Wow, that is unique! Are you an artist? You see things differently than most. I am actually! i was just talking to my wife about this too, and for whatever reason ive just always loved how the books looked hanging on the walls like this as opposed to more traditional upright or in frames... plus wall to wall comics just looks... cool .

actually no... wife and 1 year old daughter... (hell half the books on the wall are hers!) funny enough i didnt make any markings... i use those clear binder pages to put the books in, and hang one on the top of the wall... then base everything on that one, both down and up... makes it nice and even rows... once i finish sorting through my sdcc haul, ill post my bedroom walls too, which consist of just my Skottie Young baby cover collection and Sketch covers... The odd books are actually my CGCs... i have no idea what to do with them since everything else hanging is at an angle .

ooh do you know your grade yet? I was with one other guy at Joe Mads booth who had this issue as well... so im sure well see this pop up more in the next couple of weeks...still this is on my list of favorite rare books along side my j. scott campbell wolverine #1 deadpool cover (1:100/1:200) i was actually super surprised i got a 9.8... i found this copy on ebay right before SDCC and took a chance with it (i feel like its a gamble everytime i buy a book on ebay... (was thinking it would be a 9.6 at least though . I feels awesome opening that box and seeing a 9.8 look up at you

oh wow... i didnt know he got screwed by dynamite... glad i didnt pick one of those up at SDCC last year when i met him... had him sign an Army of Darkness Todd McFarlane Toy though... and yeah hes totally rad... took a few minutes with fans and took pictures with them ( and didnt charge!)
