It was a small group but it must have been amazing for readers of Weird Tales from the late 20’s thru the mid 30’s reading Lovecraft and Howard’s new stories as they were released…

The Dunwich Horror by H.P. Lovecraft Bart House #12 1945 $90
Lovecraft's second mass market paperback and very hard to find in any condition, this one is real nice.
Fine Plus. Solid tight binding, pages tight and supple. White pages and inside covers. Unfaded spine with a bit of ripple from glue shrinkage. Faint reader crease on front, none on the back.

The Weird Shadow Over Innsmouth by H.P. Lovecraft Bart House #4 1945 $90
One of the hobby's great classic covers. Lovecraft's first mass market paperback and becoming very hard to find in higher grade.
Fine Plus. Solid tight binding, pages tight and supple. Great page quality, bright white and the interior covers are bright white as well. Strong colors, they are usually faded. Front is uncreased, the back has a couple of light creases, light edgewear.

Terror At Night Ed. by Herbert Williams Avon No. 110 1947 $30
Great George Mayers cover art on this nice copy of Avon's first true horror anthology featuring Lovecraft and several other Weird Tales writers.
A much better than average copy with decent centering of the red frame that is usually totally cut off on more than one side.
Fine/Fine Plus. Solid square, bright and tight, has a fair bit of spine wear but very little to the covers

Vampirella #4 Blood Wedding by Ron Goulart. Warner Books No. 86-088 1976 $55
A killer copy. The first and best I've had to list.
VF/VF Plus - unread. Square and glossy. No reader crease on the tough black cover, just very minor edge wear on this otherwise fresh looking copy. Pages are lightly tanning. Small rubber stamped code to top of page edge.

Is that the scan or are there no nipples drawn on the boobs? Looks odd.

Vampirella #6 Snakegod by Ron Goulart Warner Books No. 86-090 1976 $50
An outstanding copy of this tough book. I don't think I've sold a copy of this one before. Complete with the insert ad for cigarettes. The classic cover from Vampirella 89 was used for this last book in the series.
VF Minus. Square, glossy and tight. Has a hairline spine crease, small bend on cover and a few little touches of wear at the edges. Beautiful.

Timeless Stories for Today and Tomorrow Ed. by Ray Bradbury Bantam A944 PBO 1952 $20
Great collection selected by Bradbury, includes Bradbury, Jackson, Kuttner & more
The amazing wraparound cover art is uncredited but looks like Charles Binger to me
VF minus. No crease at all on the spine so it's an unread copy that has a few color flecks off the edges and a tiny crease on lower back left. It's a fat little violume.

Classic Gerald Gregg Horror cover. One of the best Dell Hitchcock Horror books. Stories by Wells, Crawford and Derleth, among others.
A square, tight fresh copy with great gloss. Some light lamination creasing that doesn't break color keeps it out of high grades but man, it feels and mostly looks like one. Great pages.

Liana by Martha Gellhorn Popular Library NO. 1529 2nd print 1954 $15
Gorgeous colors on this Ray Johnson GGA painting with great vignettes on the back cover as well. One of the many inter-racial genre from this time period.
Square, tight and glossy. Has a reader crease, light vertical crease on back and some edgewear. A real nice looking book.

The Gorgeous Devil George H.Smith, Newstand Library 503 PBO 1959 $20
Beautiful Pulp Sleaze with Robert Bonfils GGA
Fresh looking copy. Bold colors, glossy cover. Very light wear, virtually no cover creasing at all. Pages are off white and supple. Someone read it carefully once because a couple of pages had the corners folded back at one time but it appears very lightly read.
