  1. Not sure if I'm in the right place for this one, so my apologies in advance if I'm not! 3 or 4 years ago I picked up a CGC 9.4 copy at my annual FanExpo event here in Toronto. Paid about $1200CAD for it or so the price wasn't an issue. Some how I've had this book a few years now, even looked at it a bunch of times and I never noticed that the label is waaaaay off on it's description. So.. I know I can't trust the label description but hoping the grade still stands true. And I'm curious now, does an error like this add any actual value to the book? Or is this something I should be looking at getting corrected next time I see a CGC rep this August? And assuming I can get this fixed (free of charge), would the book under-go new appraisal processing? Meaning if I want the proper label could I potentially lose the grade and page quality grade for something like this? Might not be worth the risk if that's the case. I've seen a few label errors in my days but this one seems a little more odd than the ones I've come across.
  2. I can see it being possible that this book was witnessed at a con after them being available for order online. But I guess what's thrown me off is that COA is being included with a CGC yellow label book.
  3. I've been racking my brain around how a book I just bought got a yellow label. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining at all but just trying to put the picture together. I purchased Spider-Gwen #24, J Scott Campbell Cover C, CGC 9.8 on eBay. Label is yellow with the standard Campbell sig and another one from Sabine Rich. The book is even being shipped with the original COA for the Campbell signature. Now being that COA is included this tells me the book was a pre-signed order. And when it comes to CGC slabbing they don't provide yellow labels for COA books as we know. No witness, no yellow label. Yet the book does has a yellow label with 10/06/17 as the date for the signature which is days before the books were up for sale online on his site. I assume around the same time he probably signed all the copies that were up for sale. Should I assume CGC witnessed a handful of these at the time he signed all the books? Just wondering how this may have been possible.
  4. Correct. Currently one CGC copy exists in a 9.2. Not sure if anyone caught this earlier today up on eBay: ALL-NEW MARVEL NOW POINT ONE # 1. MCNIVEN VARIANT.
