  1. Thats a good reason. I would do the same thing if i were collecting the beginning of the run. #26 seems like a good place to stop
  2. Wow! There must be like ... 100 books there! Nice collection by the way.
  3. Just completed my first transaction on the boards and figured i would get this thread going for myself. So ... how did i do?
  4. Comiclink just sold a copy of Action#1 in FN+ !!! Action #1 in FN+
  5. Congrats and glad you're the buyer. Congrats man!
  6. Can't believe, there is only 51 more days till the movie . Ditto, thanks for the update.
  7. I apologize if this has been mentioned in this thread already. There is a low grade 2.0 (restored) copy of SC#22 in the April auction right now on Comiclink. If someone is looking to own a relatively cheap copy of this book, this would be a good example.
  8. I love going through these threads...
  9. I think there`s pretty clear consensus among knowledgeable DC collectors that there are more than 3 top tier SA DC keys. My implication of never having a consensus with this was towards which books are keys and which are not.
  10. To each his/her own... There will never be a consensus on this.
  11. That pretty much covers it in my book They are the only 3 mega-keys coming to mind at the moment for DC silver age. (unless you want to count the first issues of the JLA, GL the Flash(105) as well...)
  12. it is already worth more in some circles... It definitely is in my small circle......... I do think that the SC#22 is a huge DC silver age key, but the SC#4 books seem to be more scarce than the SC#22's. I have to admit...SC4 has been the laggard, but is picking up steam. Scarce in supply doesn't always quantify demand. Price point per grade recorded sales, SC4 is still the most valuable SA DC, followed by SC22 and BB28. Demand wise would be SC22 and close followed by BB28 and then SC4. I would agree to this order of demand, and maybe its just me but it seems that BB#28 isn't real close to SC#22. Or am i wrong?

I do think that the SC#22 is a huge DC silver age key, but the SC#4 books seem to be more scarce than the SC#22's. I don't know if they are more scarce, but the market is not the strongest right now so fewer copies are trading hands. SC #22 was in the same boat just a couple of years ago........ Yeah, I think it was only about 2+ years ago that a SC#22 could be had for around guide (or even less).
  14. There is speculation of a Flash movie being made, isn't there? If so, i am sure SC#4 would bounce back with stronger sale prices.
