Nice use of B&W!

Next time I'm submitting under the express tier. Feels like it's taking forever

This is one I didn't want to show at first simply beacuse it's taken from Dale Keown's work on Hulk 367, but then I noticed other "cover based"
work being shown. What the heck, it's not like I'm making money off of it.
Notice how all my work starts from the left before I quit? Must be a "right side of the brain" malfunction. I have an instructional book dealing
with that specific problem.
Maybe I should read it. I really want to finish this one.

I can't draw anything cool
My drawing sucks so bad,I can't even draw stick figures
Ah, but you have such good posts, so it's all good
-
Darth your stuff rocks!
Wow, thanks Oakman. I just wish I liked them enough to finish one of the blasted things
You still can.
That's true. Maybe, thanks to your kind encouragment, I might even get that motivation I normally use to start one.

I can't draw for sheet, but i used to trace chicks of my dads porn mags.
He even built me this "trace table" with a light bulb in it, ahh godd times...
I think i've since tossed the work though
:roflmao:
How many times?

Here's 4 sketches I've started, but never finished. I honestly don't think I've finished any drawing or sketch since high schoool. I've finished paintings, but never a drawing. I eventually get bored with it or I screw up or I just don't like it. And for some reason I can only draw well if I'm REALLY into it. If I don't feel like it, it just doesn't work AT ALL. Lately anything I draw is just technique practice. Anyway, this is all I have pictures of. These were before I bought my scanner, so they're just pics. Hope it qualifies for this thread
This one isn't an original. I saw it on the net and tried it with pencil (for practice). I think its original medium was pen and ink. Can't remember who's work it is, but I'm not going to be a Granito and claim it as mine. (thumbs u

Better scans, thanks to some helpful tips.

I didn't know about this book. VERY cool!!

GREAT transaction!! Michael shipped my books almost immediately and they were packed EXTREMELY securely, what I like to refer to as "a pain in the to unwrap" (which is a good thing when it comes to comic books).
Thanks Michael (thumbs u Hope we can do this again sometime

Thank you VERY much for the tips (thumbs u

Ooooooh.
I assume something in the lighter earth shades will work? Or is darker better?

Not really sure why some scans look cropped and some don't. They were scanned at the same sitting. I'm STILL trying to figure this darn thing out. Anyway, it's not like anything is hidden.

Books were accurately graded, fairly priced and quickly shipped! Exactly what a buyer looks for in a purchase. Thanks, John

Thanks, Michael

I had a plastic bag over the comic with a window cut out so Stan couldn't screw it up.
Brilliant. I'll keep that in mind (thumbs u

Great buy on the Marx figs!
Thank you

Found these (c.1967) in our local antiques mall for $20
According to a guide I bought 5 years ago, I made a 500% "profit" (not that I'm selling them)

"The highest graded copy and first appearance of one of Marvel's most beloved characters, Deadpool"
He is?
Well, at least somebody loves him

Re-reading the Heir to the Empire trilogy.
I'm reading "501st: A Republic Commando Novel"
Ive read Heir to the Empire trilogy about 8 times since I bought the Heir to the Empire in softback when I was a Sr. in HS.
There are very few stories I like to read and read again than those.
The Han Solo Trilogy is an excellent read too.
I currently am reading The Long Emergency and The Delta Solution by Patrick Robinson.
Is the newest edition of the Lost Tribe series out yet?
I don't think they are yet. These are EBOOKS, right? Not printed?
No it's the fate o the Jedi series
Hmmm , are you sure? I know the "current" decendants of the Lost Tribe are in the F.O.T.J. series, but if you look at The STAR WARS Novels Timeline, the Lost Tribe of the Sith are listed 5000 years before A New Hope as Ebook Novellas. But as far as the F.O.T.J. "Conviction", I think the SciFi book club just shipped it to me.
Yes, its the fate of the jedi series. I miscalled the name. Ive read the series pretty much all on my wifes Kindle so while I know the story and have enjoyed it although Im not good with the titles as I dont see a cover everytime I open it up to read.
Just got "Conviction" in the mail a few minutes ago. I'm going to put 501st down (Karen Travis' books kinda bore me ) and start it.

Ah. That makes sense. One of these days I'll get a Kindle, though the traditionalist in me loves the feel of paper.
