So conventions is just a convenient excuse for CGC?
-
And the convention submissions.

Is there any story associated with all those nude covers or are folks just buying it for the T&A? I never understood why those were such popular comics....if you've got a hardon for nude stuff: hit the magazine stand and pick up juggs or snatch or whatever. Why bother with the comic version at all?
I would've thought the invention of the internet would've taken out the mags at the newsstand.

Wow! Seriously! Hopefully you got the name of who you were speaking with.
-
No joke. The funny thing is us waiting on CGC books.
-
Whats up with Wacky Race for the NES? Saw one at Pawn America with no box, asking for $130.
-
Here we go.....
I'm not surprised at the price realized. EBAS is quite the popular artist.
-
Thats not the point. A profit can be made using another grading company.

Just checked this on eBay:
Saga #1 PGX 9.8 $157.50
Saga #1 RAW NM $64.66
-
Is it? I never did an eBay search for PGX.
-
PGX lookin better and better...this *spoons* me off. They received mine before yours how are mine still sitting at Verified? and I did fast track
Uh... wut?
No matter how slow, PGX cannot look better than CGC...
For TNITK -
CGC= professional company out of Sarasota, FL
PGX= fly-by-night "company" out of some guys' moms garage.
Seriously.

Does it really matter when you're just flipping the books? I've never submitted or bought a PGX but I can see the advantage of using them for flipping. Time is money. By the time a flipper gets a book back from CGC, money can definately be lost. Hot books don't stay hot forever.

Garage sale score. Over 60 DBZ figures, 15 Beast Wars figures, and numerous vintage TMNT, Digimon, and Bakugan figures. $30

How did this thread fall to the second page? We need to keep the post accurate and to the point of the subject header.
Mind the Mgmt #1 Variant @ $15+ & 6 bids.
Guardians of the Galaxy #1 1:50 Variant @ $17 & 7 bids.
Superior Spider-Man 1:100 Variant @ $21 & 12 bids.
Guardians of the Galaxy #8 Variant @ $23 & 4 bids.
Walking Dead #1 Governor Special Variant @ $27+ & 4 bids.
Walking Dead #92 @ $38 & 14 bids.
Superman #75 Platinum @ $38 & 13 bids.
Star Wars #1 Sketch Variant @ $81 & 7 bids.
Injustice Gods Amongst Us #1 Variant @ $96 & 2 bids.
And unfortunately a lot of nudity covers that I will filter out after I get home from work.
Why filter them out? It looks like the nudity was censored within the auction and it's nice to see whats in demand. Isn't that what the list and this thread is about?

I actually bought Avenging #15.1 today. Here it goes:
-On the next to last page you see Octo-Pete putting on the revamped suit: New boots, gloves, chest armor, and goggles.
-Last page splash of Octo-Pete swinging over the city with revamped suit on. "Doctor Octopus is dead. Long live the SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN."
First time with new suit and refering himself as the SSM.
-
Daredevil #21 Dated 2/13 by CGC
Avenging Spider Man #15.1 2/13
Amazing Spider Man #298 3/13
I never bought the "Avenging" series but had a friend tell me that Octo-Pete builds the Superior suit in this. Does he refer to himself as Superior? The Daredevil only has "SSpidey" in one panel, in the shadows. I'm no genius but I if all thats true in "Avenging", wouldn't that be considered the 1st Superior appearance?

Hey oakman. I see you talkin' up that DH Creepy and I gotta agree: I love and collect them too!

Is this a custom?

Man, nerds are never satisfied. In some instances, I wish there never was an internet. If it wasn't for the WWW I wouldn't have know that every single film, show, or song I liked was a POS.

Had no problem with Storm in the flicks.

So I was thinking about making a grab bag of TWD to put on eBay. 5 comics each (all number between 50-99) and an 1 variant. The variants will most likely be #101 gost, #100 SDCC, Hastings Governorand #85 because that's all I can think of. I took the lowest eBay value of each and got the value of each grab bag to be around $100. Would it be fair to price these at $60?
Just sell them as a "lot".

Damn. If only Milgrom didn't do the cover.
Still, I would love to have that book. Congrats.
