  1. Caption reads, "For all you guys missing the London Commute."
  2. Not really related, but kinda' sorta', I just received an eBay notice for a 12 pk of chicken ramen reduced to $14.99 + 24.52 shipping.(US seller). Seems a bit steep compared to the 25-60¢ per pack I've been paying my whole entire life. Edited 2 minutes ago by steveinthecity bartrix2322 Yesterday before I found some masks in my tool box, I looked on Amazon... https://www.amazon.com/3M-8511PB1-Particulate-Respirator-10-Pack/dp/B0002YKBV2/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=n95+mask&qid=1585875221&sr=8-1 There's a link that says "Prioritized for hospitals and government organizations." Translation: "Yeah right...you ain't gettin' nunna doze."
  3. I wish our government was doing things like this.
  4. Yup, the first one wasn't great and I got bored with the second one and quit. I'll try out that episode and hope for the best If you like SF animation, I highly recommend Love, Death & Robots on Netflix. The first episode is pretty amazing and parts are used in the music video below.
  5. And way less people based on my limited comparison. Yeah, that's been my experience.
  6. They're kinda like a smaller, cheaper version of Whole Foods. Their bulk food area is very good, and the only reason I go there.
  7. Finished Killing Eve...new season on April 12th I got a recommendation to try out Black Mirror. Thankfully, these are standalone episodes. Black Mirror is excellent, although it tends to focus on social media issues (much like SF from the 50s and 60s focused on nuclear weapons and radiation). If you only watch one episode, make sure you watch 'Metalhead' S4E5.
  8. Bulk food in bulk food bins. I was startled thinking I wouldn't be able to buy dry beans. Correct! I should have been more clear. BTW - for black beans, I found Smart & Final has the best prices. I must have 20 lbs in the pantry.
  9. I liked The Mandalorian and Watchmen. I've hear that Ozark is good. Star Trek: Discovery is the one I've been binge watching for the past week. Liking it so far. Picard is good too. I like it better than Discovery.
  10. We just got our new rules... What's allowed, and what's not, under the new Bay Area shelter-in-place rules until May 3 Under the new rules, bulk foods are not allowed to be sold.
  11. Actually, their oatmeal isn't organic for some reason. Whole Foods used to charge 2X what Sprouts charged, and it was labeled as organic. As soon as I found Sprouts, I stopped buying oatmeal from Whole Foods - "Organic" is a religion I don't subscribe to. Yeah, I'm in the SF Bay Area.
  12. Challengers of the Unknown I've never seen this before. Check out the cast. Jo Ann Worley? TV Guide – September 20th, 1964 – Challengers of the Unknown on CBS
  13. Yesterday I went to 'Sprouts' to get some oatmeal. They had a nice system: a line to get in the store with marks on the pavement every 6 feet, one person leaves/one goes in, inside same marks for checkout. Unfortunately, I get inside and most of the prices have been marked up 30%. In other news, now that our so-called health experts have decided that..."Hey, maybe masks might help," I found three brand new n95 masks in a tool box at home.

  15. Have you seen what Chuck's been trying to do? This is the oldest trick in the book.
