  1. It wasn't green, so he's safe. You get a pony. ELAINE: What about ponies? What kind of abnormal animal is that? And those kids who had their own ponies.. JERRY: I know, I hated those kids. In fact, I hate anyone that ever had a pony when they were growing up.

  3. Don't forget! This Friday @Noon PST Ok...I apologize...and I'm truly not messing with you guys...but I'm going to have to delay this game again. The file size is causing me some technical problems when I try to upload to a host. I think I know how to fix it, but I'm not 100% sure, so it's probably best that I just reschedule. That way I have the weekend to mess around with it. I'll wait until I have this solved before I announce a new date and time, but if everything goes ok I'm thinking Wednesday. Wednesday seems to be the new Friday around here anyway. The good thing is, if I ever do this again, I know exactly what NOT to do. Learning curves. And now, back to your regularly scheduled program.
  4. My download speed at work is only 4 so it must be you. xoxo greggy Generated in 0.006 seconds in which 0 seconds were spent on a total of 9 queries. Zlib compression enabled. My other computer is hooked directly...no WiFi. I get near 100 Mbps, and I've seen these delays on that one too. PS - tell your employer to sack up and get a real connection.
  5. Close to your high score! I actually get quite disappointed when I don't break it. All that waiting for nothing.
  6. Arch, Blowie and I are on separate coasts, yet this all happened within seconds of each other.

  8. I'd like to see exactly how they define the term "fan base." None of the women I know actively buy comic books of any kind. They do, however, enjoy superhero movies and TV shows. But every single one of them knows who Harley Quinn is. HQ is da bomb.
  9. I feel dumb about the reprint. But I had it out the other day...and I haven't had breakfast yet...neurons firing tangentially...
  10. Yes! It's the reprint! So...Green Lantern #76.
  11. These numbers make it look like your own internet connection may be a problem also. So that 17 second spike spent on the queries is definitely high. But what's interesting is that you have an even longer delay just downloading the page. You would see that kind of behavior if, for example, your own internet connection was saturated, or was having spikes of poor quality. That could be either in general - meaning anything you loaded at that same time would be slow for you (as long as it wasn't cached locally) or a problem with specific paths through the internet. Have you tried using an online speedtest to check your upload/download speeds during these spikes? I noticed the delta between the two numbers, and this is the first I've seen that; but I don't know why it occurred. I didn't do a speed test on that particular incident, but I've done them before during delays and not seen an internet slow-down. Also, this is literally the only site I see loading delays on. I'm usually ~20 Mbps download and ~10 Mbps upload through wi-fi, higher if hooked direct. I generally don't have any problems where I'm living now. If I see a big delta again, I'll immediately run a speed test and post that as well.

  14. That's funny as hell. I saw a video recently where this guy rescues a drone from a roof with another drone that has hooks on ropes. I'll see if I can find it.
  15. Shut it, turkey. You smell like salsa. Go eat yur gluten-free ice cream...I smell like sriracha.
  16. No, i was added on here because someone from one of the cliques on this forum got upset about how i complained about a seller on ebay... furthermore who are you deem me a jerk and that i'm acting inappropriately? your just another schmuck on this forum.... ' im not trolling i still come on here, but as i said a month ago, i stopped coming on here frequently after one of the oh so "friendly" members on here started making harassing phone calls to my parents home.... thats real classy but to Mike over here that's not being a jerk, that's being an outstanding friendly and cool member, If someone from here has really been calling your parents you should out them. That is completely unacceptable behavior. It did happen, when most of you were going back and fourth with the insults a few months back... i'll say as much as i do know who it is even though they tried to block their number... i'll say as much as he isn't from the united states... he lives in ontario..... i'll keep it at that. Who insulted you? And why "keep it at that"? If someone has wronged you, what benefit is it to you to "protect" them by keeping their name secret, but continuing to mention that it happened? What will be the benefit if i put his name out on here? then i'm going to get 15 of you to start questioning me where's the proof, and scan the phone bills or and then i'll another group of you protecting him... i start seeing posts like "oh he's a good guy, and would never do it" . "your just trying to rile things up".. i reported it to a mod the day it happen, but like usual the mods never chime in or respond back in a timely manner. all i got was a warning that i was going to be banned because i upset the regulars on here. This board is inhabited by a good amount of emotionally unstable people, but even those people know that calling people on the phone to harass them is crossing the line, and grounds for being banned themselves. Yes, of course you would need to prove it if challenged, but that's not really that difficult to do, and it's a serious accusation. People have been banned for this sort of behavior before (see: CapFreak.) If you DON'T have proof, however, then you don't have any business even mentioning it. If you just SUSPECT it, then you need to get your ducks in a row before making it public (which you should have done before even mentioning it.) I mentioned it because some members on here continue on with their BS about me being a " bad person and or a troll... so that's why i put out as to what kind of people you have on here. it happen after having that big 3 or 4 page dispute with half the members on herea few months backs.... as i said i have my thoughts on who it is, but once again that's why i didn't put his name out YET. because i knew there would be questions on how i can prove it, and quite frankly there isn't any records on paper stating when it and where it came from. I just find it ironic right after i insulted a certain member on here right after he did the same to me ,that the same night that call was made to my parents house.... If you mean rjrjr, I don't think he was specifically speaking to you. He even made a point earlier in the thread about that. I can't speak for the Valiant thread post you mentioned, but he seemed genuinely surprised that you were insulted by him, offered up a and didn't get back into the argument. These are usually good signs that he didn't mean it the way you took it. The boardies here can be very passionate about the hobby and hold strong opinions that they will defend, but that's very different from being insulting. Not that insults don't occur, but I didn't see it in this case.
  17. This is a tough one. The last panel gave me enough clues to know where to look...but I'm still not getting anywhere. But I'm finally playing one of my games!!! I need some PRNTS!
  18. Oh well, no biggie. I just wanted to warn people about TinyPic. PhotoBucket and Imgur claim to be able to retain your images forever. I've been using Photobucket for years and years and never had an issue, although if you move files around between folders the link breaks and the photo no longer shows up wherever you originally posted it. Imgur is super fast and doesn't require a user account. They claim they will never delete the image unless deletion is requested. I've been using it for a couple years now and all the images are still there, so it seems to be true. PS - On the issue of the post lock, I wonder if the one-year clock can be reset if the post is edited and re-saved sometime before it locks? In other words, say I post something and then on day 364 I add something to the post through the edit function, repost, delete whatever I added, re-post again; would the clock reset and give me another 365 days? Just an idea.
