    Just caught up with this show. I thought his love interest, Laurel, was Black Canary. She has the comic-characters name, Dinah Laurel Lance. And one episode had them remebering a halloween , joking about how she looked great in fishnets. The show seems to be taking an Elseworlds approach with fresh takes on the comic characters. That gangster's daughter/assassin seems to be Huntress, introduced as Helena and wearing a cross. That's my understanding as well. Yes, BUT the blonde accountant has to be someone...Maybe she's evil

    I finally saw the new Spidey film a few days ago. Not a horrible film, but saddening because of how much better it could have been. Like Dice mentioned in his thread, they are completely missing the essential character and why he was so cool in the comic books. I want the irreverent, smart-aleck, cocky, jumps-before-he-looks Spidey.

    I decided a long time ago that the bday threads were nothing but potential butthurt. You either participate in them all or you are publicly choosing one boardie over another. So I don't participate in them at all anymore. And yeah, there's way too many of them. We need a bday subforum.
