  1. Oh, I just steal them. Last time I made a gif it took me forever and didn't come out all that well. I don't have the proper software for it.
  2. I agree, and said it earlier in this thread. Confirmation Number Why not nip the problem in the bud? If the buyer has paid and has not received a shipment confirmation number in X days (I'm thinking 7-10 days max), then there's a problem and it should be dealt with. Why focus on item arrival date, when this adds the extra variable of delivery method, not to mention the extra time the buyer waits before knowing something is wrong. Again, I wasn't here when the rule was created, so maybe this is what the majority wants, but it seems like the metric is in the wrong place. PS - I don't think it's just buyer apprehension with an unknown seller, OCD, etc. Some buyers want to receive what they purchase in a reasonable amount of time, regardless of how trustworthy the seller.
  3. It would be unusual, although not impossible, for a seller like QualityComix to make a discovery mistake. It's not in their best interest to imagine restoration that isn't there. Did he specify the exact location? If you want, get a digital camera, put it on macro, and take a few pics for us to look at what you are describing. Also, look closely at the inside cover near the spine area. Sometimes the bleed through is hidden under the other wraps.
  4. 30 days for comics to ship is a bit long, but the number was decided upon because it allows for a decent amount of padding ... after waiting 30 days, no one can say you're jumping the gun. It also allows for any USPS tricksiness. I see. But since the seller can't control the exact arrival date, wouldn't it make more sense to focus on the actual ship date which is completely traceable with a confirmation number?
  5. Maybe it's just my perspective, and I wasn't here when it was discussed and created, but the '30 Day Rule" seems incredibly long to me. I would think that if someone hasn't given you a delivery confirmation number within a week of taking your money, there's either something wrong or they aren't really taking the sale seriously.
