    While people are welcome to their preferences aesthetically between red and yellow, I’m fairly certain the outcry over the red has more to do with a red label book being devalued compared to it’s yellow counterpart. Exactly. The bottom line is that witnessed signatures are worth more in the marketplace than their subjectively verified distant cousins - the red label had little, if anything, to do with this. One of the goals of a grading company should be to reduce confusion - this does the exact opposite.

    Aunt Agatha (Abridged Version) Aunt Agatha got his start here by creating a thread complaining about Metropolis grading on a Mary Marvel #17. They offered to take it back but he refused because he didn't want to pay the return shipping (something like $10). Instead, he created a provocative thread about the purchase, probably hoping for some sort of partial refund. LINK - "Metropolis *spooned* me" He didn't get the sympathy he was seeking here because it wasn't our first rodeo. His subsequent threads became increasingly bizarre as a form of punishment for not getting what he wanted. We welcomed them as new playgrounds and frolicked accordingly...check and mate. The End
