  1. Yeah...this isn't going to sit well with a lot of people. Sadly, it's the only way to avoid most forms of Shaken Comic Syndrome (SCS). I wonder if this applies to pressers who have traditionally shuttled books back and forth.
  2. It’s basically like an Advent calendar, with more windows to select and open, but without the religion. My family did the Advent Candle thing, but I've seen the calendars. If anyone would like to light candles while playing The Grid Game, please be safe. Close book before striking, and do not leave candles unattended.
  3. Just found out that Hames Ware passed away yesterday from a five year battle with cancer. As many of you know, he was a GA researcher and the co-editor of The Who's Who of American Comic Books.
  4. The Grid Game Rules 1) There are a total of 150 Zones. Some will be available for play, some will not. The playable zones will be specified.2) The first person to post a zone request number after each grid is posted will be chosen. (There's no need to hurry - pick a good zone). You do not have to take turns.3) Zones will be revealed until someone correctly specifies the comic book. Ok...here's a new one.
  5. I debated omitting that square, but I figured the book would be solved before anyone chose something that high.
  6. Are you guys going to hang around if I do another one?
  7. Yes. Here's the book with the grid overlay (minus the AF15) so you can visualize what Rocky explained above. I omit any squares that would give the book away too soon, but their omission give clues.
