  1. Yeah, I saw it. It's very good. I noticed that Season 2 of The History of Comedy is out now. I'll be watching that when I get a chance.
  2. I love watching/reading Sammy Hagar complain about Van Halen. So funny. Which "The Last Laugh," 2016 or 2018? I've been watching I'm Dying Up Here and Crashing. Not documentaries, but they're really good if you like shows about stand-up.
  3. Foodies Corner - Homemade Yogurt This is the book that first got me into making my own yogurt. I soon learned to incorporate a cooler into the recipe to keep the bacteria in the zone. The bacteria that create yogurt are only active within certain temperature ranges. Proteins are broken down into amino acids, and they are time/temp-dependent. I get by using a calibrated thermometer, and the cooler is used to maintain that temp so the bacteria can do their job. Too hot, you kill the desired bacteria...too low, bad bacteria can take hold and ruin it. There are a gazillion reasons to make your own, possibly even a quad-gazillion, or even a mega-quad-gazillion...no one is really sure. One BIG reason is health concerns. Read this... Commercial Yogurt Won’t Do Squat for Your Health So why am I posting this right here, right now? Because I'm getting a new toy in a few days. Stay tuned!
  4. The Variants of The Brave and the Bold #93 (Yes...I know it's not #(1-24), but thought you might be interested.)
  5. SDCC 2018 The comics start at about 7:45 if you want to avoid all the other stuff.
  6. TCBF Link The Variants of The Brave and the Bold #93 So this is interesting (or at least I thought so). I was reading GCD and noticed that it stated that The Brave and the Bold #93 has a variant. GCD I had never heard of this before, so I searched the internet and found absolutely no information about it. And it doesn't appear that either CGC or CBCS notes the variation on the label.Game on! I discovered examples of both variants (see below). It appears that when the error was caught, the plate was rather crudely modified to correct the error (notice the upward shift in the word 'Bold').Since there are examples of both variants on eBay in fairly ample quantities, I can't make any inference as to the percentage of each variant in the print run.I fear I have just added a new nightmare for Batman completists. If anyone has any additional information, please post it here; I would love to know more about this issue. The Original Indicia Variant The Corrected Indicia Variant And since then, I've found more examples: So, if you get a chance, check your copy/copies (if you have one) and post the results here. I'll do an informal tally of the results. Thanks for reading!
  7. They told me they don't like you either dork. How 'bout Member Berries...do ya like Member Berries?
  8. Maybe I need to try re-loading it or something. The vindaloo is a good idea...I'll try that first.
  9. You guys are crazy. CGC doesn't have a newton ring problem. Never did. In fact, the last holder (I think someone nicknamed it the Creep-Engine Case), looked even better. So quit yur whinin'... buncha OCD complainers...the lot of you.
  10. Is it normal for the pics to be so small? I've been told that bigger is better.
  11. Well, it smells better in here. Thank goodness. I loaded up the cupboards and fridge with Hungarian Goulash, Pantry Raid Chicken, and Steel Cut Oats fixens. Also brought a big bag of doner kebabs, and large container of chicken vindaloo. And Wolvie is making protein shakes (blueberry/cinnamon/banana) for anyone who wants. He was rather insistent.
  12. I'm here to tell you that the rain in Spain lies mainly on Blaine's cocaine. Plainly speaking, of course.
  13. I believe the proper term is 'threadsurrection.'
  14. I finally found my log in information. It's been over a year. I'm not used to this new forum software at all. There are TWO journal areas now??? It's stuffy in here...I'm gonna open the DFJ windows and let it air out for a bit. Plants are all dead. There's a giant mummified rat under the refrigerator...need to set some traps. Anyway...I'll try to post in here more often. As usual, everyone is welcome here. Feel free to join in. Later, ~Ditch
  15. Nice pics Tim! Looks like it was a nice day for a ride.
