  1. To be fair, I didn't say pressing causes waves in the new holder. No, but you said enough for them to run with it for a few weeks, even if they don't understand exactly what you said.
  2. INVASION OF THE SPOUT PEOPLE? Spoutaphile - Indigenous native of electronic message boards known to derail intelligent conversation with controversial topics, arguments and inane chatter. Easiest form of eradication: nuke from space, or introduce it to a member of the opposite sex.
  3. No kidding. I looked at that post a little while ago and thought...wow...that's a little harsh...maybe I should delete it. Then I thought...nah screw it...it's spot on. PS - that post had nothing to do with Metal...he just got me riled up thinkin' 'bout stuff.
  4. If it were required in the New Case thread, we'd have 50 posts filled with information. Instead, we have 4100 worthless posts filled with opinion and misinformation...such as pressing causes waves in the new holder...which will come up again as a question or a statement in a page or two. No one really reads threads around here...they just want to spout off their worthless opinions about everything.
  5. It needs to be linked to a post with the information.
  6. She tells the dog to smile bigger for the second photo.
  7. Been reading the Water Cooler again? "New Case" thread. I've never had someone quote my own analysis and words back to me before...and by two separate people. That was a first. I'm not sure what saying is more appropriate: "Reading is fundamental" or "Pearls before swine."
  8. I love when Wiki-Scientists and Wiki-Engineers forget where they copied their information, claim it as their own, and then reply to the source in a fashion that shows they don't understand it. That's a special feeling.
  9. I don't think the OP wanted to discuss anything and just wanted to sell his comics. I don't think we would get a response from him/her otherwise we would have gotten one already. Then OP should have just started a normal sells thread  I think he did. Just went for a bit of extra pub here in cg. A lot of this happening lately....and to think a year or two ago it'd be moved with no explanation and none required. My dream is to remodel my 747 so I can attract and entertain a higher level of venture capitalist to fund my next startup. Can I break the rules too and advertise my sales thread here in CG? Cuz, you know...I really want it and stuff.
  10. I just died inside a bit That looks a lot like the slabbed BB28 that the guy shot with a shotgun. Most rats simply start from an outside corner and work their way in. This rat appears to have an artistic flair to his cravings.
  11. This is one of my favorite threads. I don't know why, but looking at rat-chewed comics just makes me giggle. Sadly, many of the pics in this thread are no longer active - maybe the original contributors can update them? Anyway, just found this beauty in a new holder. Post 'em if you got 'em.
  12. It hasn't been declassified yet Have you always had that moving red dot on your forehead?
  13. “Whatever you now find weird, ugly, uncomfortable and nasty about a new medium will surely become its signature. CD distortion, the jitteriness of digital video, the sound of 8-bit - all of these will be cherished and emulated as soon as they can be avoided. It’s the sound of failure: so much modern art is the sound of things going out of control, of a medium pushing to its limits and breaking apart. The distorted guitar sound is the sound of something too loud for the medium supposed to carry it. The blues singer with the cracked voice is the sound of an emotional cry too powerful for the throat that releases it. The excitement of grainy film, of bleached-out black and white, is the excitement of witnessing events too momentous for the medium assigned to record them.” ― Brian Eno, A Year With Swollen Appendices
  14. French and Saunders from Ditch Fahrenheit on Vimeo. French and Saunders. The very Monty Python-esque sketch, which was custom made for guitarists and bassists, features appearances by Pink Floyd's David Gilmour, Dire Straits' Mark Knopfler and Motorhead's Lemmy Kilmister, plus Gary Moore and Level 42 bassist Mark King—all of whom jam a bit at the end.The two gents at the beginning of the sketch are Rowland Rivron and Simon Brint; Dawn French plays the judge and Jennifer Saunders is the stenographer. The Drew Carey Show. In the scene, Drew and his cronies decide to hold a last-minute audition as they search for a guitarist for their band. The clip features, in order of appearance:• Slash• Cheap Trick's Rick Nielsen• ZZ Top's Dusty Hill (who plays bass)• Matthew Sweet (Hey, it was the Nineties!)• Joey Ramone• Lisa Loeb• Dave Mustaine• Roy Clark (who plays fiddle in the clip)• Jonny Lang• Michael Stanley• Joe Walsh.
  15. So what happened to Old Joe...? I'm waiting for Dr.X or someone to finish this scene. Personally, I'm hoping we end up getting a giant mushroom fireball curling its way into the atmosphere, because...well...who doesn't love exploding gas stations...but that's just me.
