It was published in Spain(?) for Warren in English by Joseph Toutain via his publishing company Toutain-Editor. This English edition was limited to 500 signed & numbered copies. Many were damaged due to poor printing/manufacturing quality. At the same time it was published in Spanish for European consumers. Don't know what the print run was for that.
I have both the Warren, English and Spanish version.

Awesome collection. I also spotted an Eerie #1 in there as well! Is it an original or a replica?

For anyone looking for a copy of the Vampirella Special HARDCOVER, there is one on auction on ebay!
Good luck to any forum bidder(s)!

I have successfully removed penciled grease dates with Ronsonol lighter fluid. Leaves no odor or residue. Using a q-tip or clean cloth or tissue.

That’s pretty nice too! Congrats, they don’t show up too often! How long have you had that?
I go my copy in December of 2019. So I have had it for almost 4 years. Got it from a Great Britain seller (Ian Pakes?) on ebay. Cost me $100 shipping included. The only time I had ever seen it.

I will have to pass on this one. It has rusty staples!

I have been looking for an upgrade copy of Creepy 6 for a little while and finally came across a nice one. Got it from The Book Palace of all places (Great Britain). Seems to be a solid VF or so. My now lower grade copy was nice but had a small tear and fold at the right edge of the front cover. Really hard to find at a reasonable cost for a higher grade. Tough black cover.

My response was in reference to issue 208 only. He asked about the back cover of 208.
-
-
The 2nd print of 208 indicates the printing at the bottom of the first page and has the BLACK SPIDER MAN head on the cover.
The interior front cover and rear cover ads of the 2nd print are different. First print image is on the left and the 2nd print image is on the right in each of the scans below. Sorry for the poor images.
First print:
Inside front cover M&M ad. Inside back cover has MASK ad.
Second print:
Inside cover has NEW UNIVERSE ad. Inside back cover has CLASSIC X-MEN ad..
I hope that you can find yourself a copy!

Vampirella Special Hardcover Edition Question
in Comic Magazines
Posted · Edited by chevalmeow
correct diction
I did not read through all of the Spanish version but what I did see was exactly as the English version. I believe that they ought to be exactly the same as my understanding is that they were printed at the same time.
In his book, "A Gathering Horror", David Horne lists the Spanish version as having 1500 copies. He was not positive and stated that his information was derived from a back cover ad from a magazine which stated that the HC was limited to 1500.
