This was actually my first ever "attic find" as they were literally found in the attic of a gentleman who passed away and they were clearing out the house for sale. He was born in 1940 and the majority are 1946-1952, mostly 1946-1948. I was actually impressed with the amount of key books given the overall collection type. Lots of old magazines too and lots of condition issues, but unbelieveably, no water or moisture issues. I simply can' t believe that - stains, foxing, rusty staples are not an issue. Silver fish on the otherhand - well.... some got hit worse than others. And general storage wear on 75 year old books. So 6 pretty nice keys, a couple dozen good books - I have another stack of nice cartoon or fiction house type books - no real keys. Then 150 cartoon, western and coverless books. Super stoked as I've never owned a number of these. And I've never bought a Timely in the wild, let alone a classic Schomberg or Nedor or Blue Beetle 54!
