  1. Yeah, I read that Disney was disappointed with the box office for Avengers AOU and I do not get it either. I have my qualms about the story and the villain, but it was an entertaining summer popcorn movie. And it made a ton of money. All I can think is maybe Disney is disappointed that AOU will end up 3rd or 4th globally and 2nd or 3rd domestically for the year. Like they could of predicted the superfight would deplete alot of f potential film goers pockets that same weekend but the people that did see it where much less enthused about it than the original film, thus hurting future sales. The opening weekend does not break the record books, a steady stream of people seeing it does.
  2. Sequels for comic book and fantasy movies have traditionally done better at the box office than their predecessors. Disney was probably hoping for the #1 movie of all time. But AOU sucked, so it didn't happen.
  3. That has to be one of the worst excuses for backing out of a purchase. He would have been better off just saying he changed his mind. Really that is just being greedy and obnoxious. He wants his first choice of books and any discounts applied later. No doubt. That's a new one on me. I don't think I've seen that before. I've seen all manner of self-entitled, navel-gazing, "my mommy says I'm special so the rules don't apply to me" type of behavior on this board, but this one is new. And I've had a seller offer me books, responding to a WTB post I made, that were priced 40% higher than his prices in a sales thread he had currently running at the time. He did manage to blame it on his wife. So he had that going for him. It's not cool. We've seen threads for years with incremental price reductions. It's an accepted practice here and a common practice in most retail markets. I do this on a regular basis, and have never had anyone complain about it. I try to price fairly to begin with, and if you had not taken the book before reduction, there is a good chance someone else would have. By waiting for a reduction you are risking that someone finds the price fair enough to purchase it before you. To ask for it retroactively is ridiculous.

  10. Who wants the book next? I just got it from Boboset yesterday. Ideally, I'd like to get the book out tomorrow.
  11. Looks very well produced. Is this in the same universe as Man of Steel? Or is DC continuing their stupid policy of keeping the movie and tv universes separate.
  12. Those tattoos look incredibly dumb and out of place.
  13. Fast payment, and great communication. Thanks alot Brent! Hope we can deal together again!
  14. Speaking of his Instagram. Looks like he was selling the same books there and here at the same time. But I guess that doesn't matter cause he doesn't have to honor deals on Instagram apparently.

  20. I really like Jubilee - I think she's a great supporting character. Always liked her with Wolvie. I can see what people would think she's annoying, and her 'PAF's are kinda/were kinda lame - but still, I always thought she was a consistently well-written character most of the time. Yeah, her and wolverine were great.
  21. He is still alive. http://www.bleedingcool.com/2015/03/20/the-death-of-donatello-not-so-fast/
