  1. I'm Ok with a mystery box sale, but not a boxes sale. Ex -Shadroch will sell a mystery box once in a while and state he will include art or something of the sort in it. He doesn't sell multiple boxes and post pics of what might be in them.
  2. Who would believe that Ditko's ideas could improve this much!

  4. Added a couple books to my ASM 300-441 9.8 run. More should be coming in tomorrow.
  5. Paid as soon as I sent the invoice, and let me know when the book arrived. Thanks for a great transaction!
  6. I'm really surprise how many people seem to be OK with the Tattooz being replaced and undisclosed. I think it is extremely shady to do this without disclosing, and absolutely should be considered restoration. What about marrying a page without story on it? "well it was just ads so who cares?"
  7. I was just posting during my lunch break and didn't have time to scan. All scans are posted now. no criticism! Really I loved it! (I knew you were gonna post scans) Well then.

  9. And he's not alone. I thought this one had been thoroughly drummed out of town. Yep. Got hustrucked by PM for my last sales thread. Ridiculous lowball.
  10. wait a minute, are those my books? Infinity gauntlet, and Nm 87 are paperheart pedigree. my days of not grading anything higher than NM+ are officially over

  13. If it was someone else it probably wouldn't have been as big an issue. But as previously stated he has a long history of threadkrapping and passive aggressive behavior that has worn pretty thin with boardies it seems.
  14. And, to make things perfectly clear....he clarifies that he doesn't want to deal with our krap... No, he just wants to deal our books. But only because he wasn't in the mood. Otherwise, I suppose, he'd go guns a-blazing. He sells comics to people. That automatically makes him a stand up guy to lots of boardies!! I've checked out his site before. Won't bother to again. Not interested in giving my business to someone who behaves this way. I wonder if he would even respond to that PM. I'm pretty sure I'm at three in a row he's ignored. Then he complains about people not responding to his.
  15. That is me I'm in no rush to sell it. So I just threw it out with a ridiculous BIN to see what people would offer.
  16. It's kind of crazy that whenever we discuss adding a new guideline/rule, everyone screams that "Don't rock the boat, the For Sale forums are only here by the grace of CGC and could disappear at any time", and then these same people run raffles. In fairness to the OP the distinction between good and bad raffles may not have been clear. It certainly would not have been to me. There have been "raffles" run in legit sales threads which were premised on each customer getting one ticket towards a prize for every purchase made, granted that is different, but, the difference is not as great as it seems. There have been "mystery box" sales which premise the sale on one mystery box having a special high value key book, as an incentive to "try your luck". Again, it is different from a straight raffle, but not so different that I would consider it obvious. I do understand why the Admin stopped the raffle, I'm just saying its not to me such an obvious point of difference. If, say, a thread was premised on everyone buying a "mystery box" of assorted comics, where one box had an AF 15 in it, people would buy mystery boxes without consideration of purchase, but essentially as "lottery tickets" in hopes of winning the real prize. This suggests to me that the issue is less about process than about the value of prize offered. The more valuable the prize the less distinction there would be between purchase and lottery. Mystery boxes when you show everything included in the boxes is a raffle. I don't see any other way to cut it.
  17. Sold Dave two nice silver age keys. He paid immediately, and let me know when books were received. Thanks for a great transaction.
