Using the proceeds from this sale to pay off a book for my personal collection. I will just be posting front covers for the sake of time. If you would like a back cover photo let me know. Other rules: 1) in the thread or PM by timestamp takes the book. 2) Payment must be sent within 1 week of confirmed sale. Only accepting personal checks at this time. I will PM you my name and address after you take the book. I will ship once payment clears. 3) Shipping is a flat rate of $15 for USPS Priority Mail. My apologies to non-U.S. board members, but I am not shipping internationally at this time. 4) No probation list or HOS members allowed. 5) No returns on CGC graded books. Raw books must be returned in their same condition and you must let me know within 7 days of the book being delivered that you will be sending the book back if you are unhappy with your purchase. Buyer covers the return shipping on raw books unless I missed something.

We must have had the same grader. I sent 7 copies of Spider-Man 2099 #1 in one invoice back in December and here were my results: 9.4 x5 9.6 x2 I thought these would all come back 9.8. Only one 9.4 had grader's notes: "light cover tanning". I'm guessing this must be common with Spider-Man 2099 #1 Needless to say, I have stopped sending multiple copies of one book to CGC.

Don't beat yourself up, it happens to the best of us. It may be an expensive lesson, but those are the ones that stick with us the longest. Sorry to hear about the situation, I know how deflating it can be. Thankfully, it looks like you have had a handful of wins based on your other purchases. Even Babe Ruth struck out a few times!

Have you guys seen the Phillippine variants?
jjfversion1 replied to Bo_Hogg's topic in Bronze Age Comic Books
@masterlogan2000 brought me here. Wanted to share an Avengers 102 Goodwill Trading reprint I recently came across. I don't collect foreign variants, so planning to list this for sale soon. Is there a market for these books still? If so, how does it compare to the US versions? -
Comic book collecting with a foreign variant focus

Can a fellow boardie with knowledge about comics from the Philippines tell me what I have here? I'm not too familiar with Goodwill Trading reprints, so any information would be much appreciated.
