  1. Love the Dr. Stacy & InGwenable Hulk covers look fantastic! I'm sold on those for sure!
  2. They were originally $10 for the color and $20 for the sketch copy. The set was $25 each which was limited to 1 per person.
  3. Wow! So, the Comic Bug is selling a set for twice as much as they were selling at the "mini con" ($25 vs. $65). When I spoke to them on Saturday, he said, they would be a "little" over cover.
  4. The print run for the color Siya Oum variant is 3,000 and the black and white is 1,500.
  5. Nice Dre!! Just turned mine in with Siya's and Robbi's autos on them!!! And had them also do a sketch. Also got to hang out with Joel and Nick. Great seeing you both today!
  6. So you are saying we need Dana Carvey to supply us with disguises? Exactly!!
  7. Edge of Spider-verse #2 Comic Bug variant by Siya Oum is now limited to 1 set per person.
  8. Just confirmed that the Comic Bug variant for Edge of Spider-Verse #2 will be limited to 3 per person @ $25 a piece. They are projecting that they will sell out of the sets by the end of the con. However, if they have some left, they will offer them up on their site (mark up has not been determined). For you numbers guys, the print run for the Color is 3,000 and for the Sketch Cover is 1,500. I think that's pretty typical for store variants based on what I've seen on the boards.
  9. My friend ended up going today and he said they told the limit would be 1 set per person. But I guess it can or cannot change depending on demand & since still a ways go I am said friend, and went to the Culver City location earlier today. They told me that they think it will be limited to 1 set per person, but weren't sure. Hopefully they were wrong. Which location do you go to Praxis? Also, they will be cheapest at the con (obviously). They will greatly mark-up what they don't sell after it's over. I went to the Manhattan Beach location and spoke with Mike about the buying options. He mentioned 5 at the time. Looks like they need to get their stories straight.
  10. I go you covered Eric! Thanks 'zo you're the man!! Are they going to have a CGC witness? Surprisingly yes, there will be a CGC witness there for the signing at Comic Bug's "mini con"
  11. They will be selling them on May 2nd at $25 for the set or $10 color & $20 b&w. Also, heard that they may be limiting them to 5 sets per person. I'll double check the next time I go in. They really do look nice in person! Also, Siya Oum and Robbie Rodriguez will be present signing copies. WooHoo!!
  12. Just saw these army LCS in preparation for Free Comic Book Day in May!! So, thought I would share these with you all: FYI, these are considered 5th Printings.
  13. Really like this cover. Is this the reg or variant cover for issue #4?
  14. In more Spider-Gwen related news: "Spider-Gwen" was a near-instant hit when the character was first previewed last year, and is now the star of a recently launched ongoing series from Jason Latour and Robbi Rodriguez. Now, Marvel aims to branch that success into a variant cover theme month for June, with variants including "Gwendusa" ("Inhumans: Attilan Rising" #2), "Gwengela" ("1602 With Hunter Angela" #1), "Iron Gwen" ("Armor Wars" #1) and more on the way. Link from Comic Book Resources Now, is it me or is Spider-Gwen becoming over exposed... Harley/Deadpool anyone?
  15. I like that one as well along with the Hastings variant which connects with ASM #17
  16. Surprisingly so.. - Reg Copy - 1:25 Pichelli variant - Dynamic Forces Opena variant - Mid-Town Comics Deodato variant (Color & B/W) - ECCC/Anastasia J. Scott Campbell variant (Color & B/W) - Comic Xposure Parel variant I think I got all of them
  17. Looking forward to getting my hands on the Pichelli variant tomorrow. It's a great looking cover, too bad my LCS could only save me one.
  18. Came home to a nice little surprise today...
  19. Awesome Nick! I would have liked my Negative Variant to have gotten a 9.8 too.
  20. Conquest Comics has replied to my email and willing to make things right. I"m very pleased with the results. Will have to ship the items back to Conquest before they'll ship me out some new copies though (hopefully individually bagged and boarded).
  21. My expectations for receiving or even sending comics is to check the books and pack them well. I understand that not all of the books will be minty fresh, but I don't expect them to have color rubs due to packing 3 books in a bag or indent/crease due to mishandling books. When I sell raw books, I pack one comic to a bag and board and expect the same from a seller. I don't think that's an unreasonable request. This prevents the comics from jostling around and affecting the other books around them. As an example, I received my copies of the JSC Spider-Gwen from Mid-Town in great condition (1 comic to a bag and board). They have some slight marks, but I am ok with that since they looked like they were handled with care and it seemed like they did everything to make sure the comics did not move around. Apologies for the rant. Anyways, I sent Conquest Comics and email this morning. We'll see what they say.
  22. Boy, does this ever sound familiar..... I have not received mine yet, but know I am getting nervous. No need to worry my friend...we are working daily to get these out and should have everything out by Friday. We lost 2 days of shipping due to having Adam Hughes in the shop for the signing event, but are shipping as many as we can daily. Should have everything out in the next 2-3 days so if you have not gotten a tracking number yet, it will arrive shortly. The reason we put multiple issues in is to simply save time guys. We are trying to get as many out as we can in a day for your guys. They are ALL packed well and secure. No need to worry or let certain folks rile you up. Everyone will get their books safe and sound and ALL will be out in the next few days. Thanks. Now off to sleep so I can wake up early, to box up more...Night all... Just got mine today (2 sets of the 3 variants) and while they did come in a box, the issues were 3 in a bag with 1 board instead so each having their own bag and board. Additionally all books were damaged with either some color breaking spine creases or creases in the same spot. So whoever packed them bent them while all three were in the bag. I'll take pix and reach out to Conquest and see what they can do and update the thread. I was really looking forward to some nice copies.
  23. Stan Lee created Gwen Stacey 50 years ago. That Gwen Stacey is dead. We have established in this thread ad nauseum that this is a "new" character that was created by Latour and Rodriguez that has nothing to do with Peter Parker's dead girlfriend. Stan Lee did not write, edit, illustrate, colour, or have anything to do with this book. So again, why have him sign it ? -J. Because Spider-Gwen is based on a character created by Stan Lee. Plus when you think Marvel, you (at least I do) associate it with Stan Lee. I'm just saying... Plus I also got my Spider-Gwens signed by Stan so I am biased.
