I know a lot of people here are let down that the Governor is not true to the comics, but I was thinking about it and the season is not over yet. I still think that he may do something to Andrea, instead of Michonne or Maggie (as was lead to be thought this week). Just gonna have to wait and see how it plays out.

Is it me, or does it feel like they are skipping a lot of good content to get to a confrontation between the two groups. Thought this season would be more of a slow burn. Still a good episode. I thought the part with the Governor and Maggie was interesting and had me very curious as to how far it would go.

Gonna have to read issue 24 again. I have always been fond of issue 47. It was one that I bought at a flea market when I was a kid and got hooked! I watched the cartoon and had the toys, but did not know much about the comics. I'm pretty sure I remember a TV commercial for issue #24 too. There was!! Makes me wish I bought that Hulk 181 CGC 9.4 you had up on your site a few years ago when I was asking you questions about it and perhaps I could have picked it up in person.

Is exactly what I was thinking. However, I see it being Meryl who does the dirty work. It needs to be the Governor. +1 It's wouldn't be the same if Merle gets what Rick had coming to him (hand) and then does all the dirty work for the Governor. Hope they stay at least somewhat true to the original in this case.
