  1. This finally showed up by way of ComicLink and Black Adam's Disneyland bill.
  2. By the way, CGC just published a great Q&A origin story for @workingdog. And Picture Frame books play a prominent part in it. CGC Collectorverse: Collector Origin Stories It's great stuff, Jim.
  3. I'm going to guess, Captain America? Though I'm wondering if a monster title has more. You're right with Captain America – six books #144,147,149,151,153, 155 Avengers have five - #94, 99, 101, 103, 105 And ASM, Conan, Daredevil, and Hulk have four each MasterChief posted a breakdown awhile ago in this thread. (I edited this post and corrected some things. Thanks, Bob!)
  4. Thank you, Barton! I too thought that the 9.6 MTA #5 was a unicorn but according to the census there are four 9.6 copies now. Maybe I saw the census in a past life? Great book in any event. Blue Picture Frames always get extra points from me.
  5. Lots of beautiful books there, Jim. I think the MTA #5 is a unicorn.
  6. I've been a Neal Adams for many years. But I've mainly stuck to collecting Marvel books since it's too expensive for me to collect both Marvel and DC these days. I made the mistake of looking through this thread and saw some Adams covers I've never seen before. And my want list grew by about 50 books. This is going to be a problem for me. But I did check one off the list.
  7. Nice hammer price for the Thor #201. It probably helped the Disneyland effort a little bit. Like Joey said, it's a beautiful book.
  8. Some guy who lives inside my head. I didn't think my bid would get it done. I bid on another 9.8 PF with a lot more 9.8s and came up way short. If I had won the other book, I probably wouldn't have bid on this one.
  9. Thanks, Mahan! Unlike Indy's pursuits, chasing comics is only dangerous to my bank account.
  10. When I was growing up and first saw Ghost Rider in a comic, it didn't strike me as unusual that his head was flaming skull. But fifty years later, I'm thinking, "Wow, his head is a flaming skull!"
