By the way, Gemma has been particularly awesome lately and just added a complete set of Picture Frame Marvels to the registry. 388 books!
Some of the slots for the more obscure titles like Wyatt Earp and Ringo Kid aren't working yet, but you'll get the idea anyway. I'm very curious to see what collections are out there.

Did you happen to snag any of the other hard-to-find 25¢ picture frame books like My Love #14 or Special Marvel Edition #4? I've never even seen a high grade copy of those books.
If MSE 4 is the one with Odin holding Thor, then I have a few HG copies, but forget about ML 14 - that book almost doesn't exist in HG.
Yep, that's the one. Only one copy has ever been graded by CGC, a 9.2.
Strangely, there are 5 My Love #14s in the census. One 9.4, two 9.2s and two 8.5s. That surprised me.

Great books, Joe! The ASM #121 is extra sweet.

All great books, joeypost. But I'm a big fan of this one.

Thanks for posting that interview. It's very cool to get an insider's perspective on this stuff. When I think about great Marvel covers from the '70s, more often than not, they were pencilled by Gil Kane. Even if we were usually looking up someone's nose.

Some new arrivals. Sometimes it seems like Don Rosa was the only guy who kept these 1970s Westerns in nice shape.

Great books, MasterChief. I've never seen a nice copy of this one before.

Resurrecting this thread from page 5.
Got this regraded at WW Chicago.
Wow. Unbelievable. Just killer.

Small world. I bought that book raw from Vincent Z. in July 1998. It was right when Vinny and Carbonaro unveiled the Oakland books. Took a very long subway ride to the Far Rockaways for that book and others. Glad to see it found a good home.

I am soooo jealous of that Fear #6.
It fell through the cracks at a ComicLink auction earlier this year. I was very pleasantly surprised by the hammer price.

Very cool. It's interesting to see how they re-purposed the original cover from Thor #127. I think most of the reprint PF books had completely new covers, but this works well.
