  1. This is truly the greatest mass release retail version of Optimus Prime. Earthrise Optimus pays homage to the original trailer and cab configuration while updating the body to that of a small scale Masterpiece Transformer. When I saw the price tag for this at $50 I thought it might be a money grab given what the TF team has been pulling lately. I was wrong. The money really does go into the engineering and articulation. This was a 31 step Transformation just for the cab. I took out Siege of Cybertron Optimus Prime in comparison. It blows it away as far as articulation and design in robot mode. However, I have to be honest, I still like the Earthrise futuristic looking cab mode. EDIT: Should have photographed that the chest opens up to reveal a removable matrix of leadership and the hands open up as well.
  2. And then it became a collection of seven... The NFL Legal Troubles Collection Welcome to the club Adam PAC Man Jones, Cecil Collins, Ray Rice, and Donte Stallworth. This set might deserve its own thread.
  3. There was discussion over on the CBCS boards that they thought he might be a particular seller on eBay because they shared a common name. I felt that chameleoncolors was a name like TigerStripes or ButterflyWings where it was too generic to drag some seller down especially if they had no history of selling books or comic related stuff other than child costumes. But... Vincent... he introduced himself as that. So... I felt it was fair game. I am on a LOT of calls today for some reason and I am supposed to be off. So I apologize if the first answer was a bit curt.
  4. More importantly, we know that his first name or one that he goes by is 'Vincent'
  5. Does Heritage ship art and comics together? I forget... can't remember if they do or if they are like Comiclink and do not.
  6. I was just remarking to another There are a couple of interesting purchases tonight.
  7. I forget, why do we have @slym2none on block? I forget.
  8. To be fair, I have to give a shout out to the original poster for actually calling CGC first before making this thread. Usually it's the reverse. Sorry about the job. But good job in the way you are trying to take care of it so far.
  9. I have not picked anything up for awhile. Restoration was a small amount of glue on the cover and I felt it presented very well for the grade. As was pointed out to me, the colors really do pop.
  10. I was just telling another board member that I expect that Wolverine Skeleton or some version of a DOFP Wolverine to be either the 9000 incentive or one of the add ons. There is already a precedent of a separate accessory pack. They are doing that with Transformers where it includes extra weapons, roller for Optimus prime... things like that.
  11. I don’t even collect this line and this has my interest. It looks like they clearly learned a few lessons from Unicron. I felt that Unicron was very overpriced. With everything they keep adding into this piece they keep justifying the price. 8200+. I would expect a slight slowdown but as you said, I also see people ordering extras now that they have revealed these incentives. I see a few second orders placed. People are army building $350 sentinels. What an amazing world. Unlike Unicron, I’m cheering this one on. what do you think... next tier is unlocked by the end of Wednesday?
  12. Sentinel has become the fastest backed campaign since they started their crowdsourcing program. Congrats and I gave to admit that is a hell of an incentive and definitely promotes buying more than one.
  13. If I can get up at 4:30 am to go to work. You can get up at 5:30 to buy a comic.
  14. What else are you listing? I was going to check out... but... listing more... on a Sunday?
