  4. Oh sweet Jebus.....I just had flashbacks to 1991 again.....thanks for that
  5. I see a lot of people in this thread talking about how this book is "dead" and that no one wants it anymore. I still see and hear about it selling pretty well. Yes, it may not be bringing in $800 for a 9.8 copy of the TB variant, but lets be honest here.....did anyone think that was really gonna last? I still see this as a book that has legs and will do well, even in spite of the production delays. Now on another note, are they ever gonna create a registry set for this book?
  6. Just got this bad boy in the mail and i was floored by the condition it is in! I honestly believe this is the best looking copy of this book that I have seen yet, especially given all the known production flaws that most of them have. This books is great! 7. To me the UXM title really went downhill from the #290's and didn't pick up again until around the Pop-topia storyarc. Basically all of the 300's were to me. I know this is heresy as some people think of AoA as the second coming, but the art was too cartoonish/anime'ish and the writing was nothing to write home about. The whole 400's were hit or miss, but I would say on the whole pretty good. As a matter of fact one of my favorite story lines of all time was in here, the "She Lies With Angels" story. Absolutely fabulous It may be my age and the fact that these were out when I was a kid, but I love the stories from "The Mutant Massacre" all the way through the end of the Muir Island Saga were great. It had some of the best art ( Jim Lee, Fabian Nicezia, Marc Silvestri, etc...) and setup stories that still reverberate throughout the X-universe today.
  8. I personally have no problem with a green label provided it is a signature I can verify myself either through pictures or that I have a signature to compare it against (preferably both) Case in point.....I have a Green Label Mad that I had Sergio sign for me that is hanging on my wall. It is definitely a keeper! If you are doing it for investment/flipping purposes however it wont work out well for you as most people place Green Labels just a hair above PLOD's
  9. "1 in the stink" ?!?....... damn dude.......just.......damn.......
