Man, I was just lamenting the lack of small shows in the Seattle area.  This is great news!  Looking forward to the show.

Thank you.  We are getting a lot of great feedback about it.   I have stores all over handing out fliers for us.

I have formed a local Facebook group made up of just comic enthusiasts from Portland area to north of Seattle.  It is a great network of stores, sellers, buyers, and collectors.  I keep members updated on local chows and comic goings.  Also, list when there are yard and estate sales that have comics.  Check it out and join.

One thing I can't stand are sellers who choose not to use adequate packaging to protect books in transit and then justify it by stating that they have never had a book arrive damaged and if so just return for refund.  This seller shipped this book just like this and stands by his means of packaging.  I post this here in case anybody wants to block this seller and or put on their do not buy list.

Guys , this happened 3 or more years ago but she  is the worst person i have ever encountered at ebay : promethea32 , just check her at toolhaus and the number of negs she leaves to sellers is insane

She brought me some books , took about 3 weeks to pay me , she sent me two mails telling me that someone from her family was in a terrorist attack ... When she finally pays me , i ship her 3 NM- books . She sents me a message telling me that the books are in poor condition and that she wants the money back. Since i was new at ebay i dont agree with her , she opens a case and of course ebay sides with her. When i receive my books i get them in poor condition...(She kept my books and sent me her lower grades) and of course i got a neg from her .

This happened to me with a Nyx #3 and a Batman (new 52) #1.

It is sad that his is happening as there is basically no recourse for this.  Buyers as either for a partial refund or a return and they send you their under copy.  The worst of it is when there are people who don't believe you.

I think the Tacoma-Seattle market needs a show like yours at least twice a year. May consider charging a bit more, say $50, for wall tables in the future. Using Facebook is a time saving way to send out email marketing or con :nyah: updates fast. How is the parking around the hotel?

Thanks.  I have been reaching out to the various stores and letting them know and asking if they will carry our fliers.  I have been getting good reception.  The people on my FB group are excited for it.  There is a lot of parking around the building.  We are using this show to see how it goes and want to do 2-3 times a year.

You can all make up your own mind on this.  I know what I am doing.  Maybe it is my NY skepticism but I am always uncomfortable with inquiries like this.   This was for a book that I do not have a "best offer" option made available.

I had a buyer ask for a lower price because he is disabled.  I said, "So am I".  Then he said, "Yeah, but were you blown up in the military?".  I just ignored him after that.  I can't stand it when people expect you to bend because of this.  He could have asked me for a better price, but don't expect it over that.
