I wonder where mine is. I got it fast tracked too. I actually have a 9.8 blue label. But I really don't wanna crack it open and risk getting a lower grade when sub for ss

Just got it back and I was mistaken. The book I just submitted for Jurgens SS was numbered 1222. (Just wanted to add that I am sitting here looking over my Mega Con haul and have UFC on the television. The two guys going at it are nicknamed Superman and Doomsday.) So what's the grade? Did you get that fast tracked?

Whoah. The S75 plat listing in ebay is gone. Someone bought it? EDIT: Just checked GPA. Yup, somebody just bought it and bumped this baby up

Yah a 9.8 copy of the S75 re-prints will be in my hunt later on. After the search I'm currently doing.

I just don't get how a 9.8 Jurgens SS has a GPA of $1k, and a 9.6 Jurgens SS has a GPA of $200. Quite a difference. Anyway, unless someone sells one from a BUY IT NOW / MAKE AN OFFER, I don't think the GPA for this is gonna go down. Does anyone know the seller? Is he here?

Superman 75 Plat 9.8 Jurgens sighting on eBay right now. I think seller got it at MegaCon's on-site grading. $1100. I'd jump on it but I'm waiting for the 3 I subbed fast track.

You're probably going to have to wait till June for that Action 684. Guice is gonna be at Heroes Con. There are only 3 9.8s out there. Thibert and Stein would do too

Was the demand really that high at that time for DC to re-print these issues? I can understand Superman #75 (Bar code/no bar code) + 2nd, 3rd, 4th Print + Black Bag + Platinum. But MOS #18 made it all the way to 5th Print. A couple more made it to 4th Print. But what do you guys think of how it affected the industry overall? I think the Death of Superman was the peak of comic book collecting. The news was in every media source, not just here in the US but all over the world. Nowadays the only time we'll hear about a comic is whenever a AF15 pr AC1 sells for a gazillion dollars. Or when a comic is turned into a movie or TV show. But I know a lot of people who didn't even know that Walking Dead is based on a comic. It's sad that the over-production and re-prints turned away a lot of collectors. Not only now that we realize how hard to get a hold of these reprints in great condition, making them a true "hard to find" gem

Y'all better post that Plat 9.8 SS by Jurgens when you get it. GPA says only 2 sales the past 2 years.

Was about to fill out form through DWC website. I was hoping I could do all my print outs at work, since I don't have a printer at home. But I think I have to print on the spot, and don't have the option for the form to be emailed and print later. What to do?

So just show up with the comics as is? Or however we think we're protecting it, and you guys will do the rest? I'm doing this for the Long Beach Comic Con btw.
