  1. Bingo good article. Way too coincidental she decides to leave the same day the town gets attacked. There was a short moment, when Carl tells her she's staying and he'll protect her. He sits down on the floor, with his back to her, and she pulls out her knife, standing over him...then turns and sits with her back to his. For a moment there it looked like she could be attacking him, just before she sat down. I noticed that, too. I agree with the article, too much coincendence going on for her not to be a spy of some sort. Wasn't she saying that a place like this has to many blindspots and that's how we.....and carl cut her off and he didn't catch that unless i misheard her trying to confess to him that she's been spying to them. I heard that and thought the same. Though a friend suggested by 'we' she meant her and the other teens who sneak in and out a bit, which is also possible. Starting with her backstory also made me think she had more to do with it.
  2. Picked up this item today, along with a copy of 2000AD number 6 from 1977.
  3. I've never had a comiclink sticker to try on, but I use lighter fluid to get stickers off record labels. If it doesn't damage an old 50's 45 label, it surely wouldn't hurt the plastic of a slab.
  4. JS is getting screwed out of money, a book and time... why should someone else have to?... (thumbs u ryan Not to mention the stress of thinking / knowing he's been ripped off, especially when it came to light someone else had bought the book.
  5. Got a batch of books from Buddy today. Very happy, buy with confidence people.
  6. A month is getting towards a long time, but shipping from the US to Oz has slowed right down recently. A minimum of three weeks is now standard and it can sometimes take longer. Though I would have thought a high value book would warrant a speedier option.
  7. But it's audience is beyond just comic collectors. The Star Wars collecting market is huge.
  8. Wow! That's a stunner. My copy is pretty rough and without the poster. I've still not seen Newtons going higher than $30-$40 before. Is there increased interest?
  9. Wow! This one seems higher than I have seen any Oz Newtons reach before. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/the-AMAZING-SPIDER-MAN-historic-1st-edition-with-CAPTAIN-AMERICA-Poster-/171014112650?pt=AU_Books_Comics&hash=item27d13c458a
  10. Carl didn't shoot Lori, he couldn't do it. Carol heard the gun shot and got there just after Carl and Maggie left. Carol checks Lori's pulse - she's alive! Uses her non-existent nursing skills to save Lori. Finds a phone and needs help...
  11. I would also add that I feel this is under-valued book and, for that reason, hope to pick up a copy sooner rather than later.
  12. Awesome copy (thumbs u Very nice. My grail too.... Not too ambitious in the grail stakes really though. I understand that you are probably thinking in terms of expense but I would politely disagree on the grounds of comic history. It would be a very fine addition to any collection that has a focus on early Marvel or Steve Ditko. I am referring to expense. Which suits me, as Doc Strange is my favourite Marvel character and the only one where I can realistically expect to put together a full SA run. I'll be lucky to match that 7.0 copy of ST 110 though.
  13. How is their grading? I'm curious as they only show stock pictures.
  14. Awesome copy (thumbs u Very nice. My grail too.... Not too ambitious in the grail stakes really though.
  15. How did the value of that Walking Dead #1 9.9 hold up after 18,000 years anyway? That book is a freak of nature.
  16. Hence I have nothing to add to this thread. Where did you get the awesome FF prints?
  17. Great seller. Received a stack of Thors today and it is all good!
  18. I hadn't picked up the pencils in years but last weekend broke the drought and it felt good. This one is from a good seven or eight years ago.
  19. Nice scores Speedy. That CoC cover is awesome.
  20. It's just lucky cobras are so predictable when striking.
