I'm not sure I agree, the FCBD issues and issue 1 are hot, other issues don't seem to be going for that much. Issue two sells a little.. These will slowly heat up... When walking dead was heating up, no one except the true readers knew what issues were 1st appearances etc.. I remember every 10th post in the WD thread was: hey. What are the key issues of WD again, and why. It was crazy to watch those issues go from 5 dollars.. To 20 to 50 in a matter of weeks. This book has soooo much potential.. But the show needs to be made .. Till then

+1 I read the first 2 issue's and I'm not that sold on it. The only reason I checked it out in the first place was Hickman giving it rave praises. I'm not sold, but I could be wrong. I cleaned out my LCS a week ago. 2 ones and 2 twos. If I double my $$ I'm happy.

I would read the trade ($8-$10) and then see how you feel. +1 I think it was issue #3 that it hit me. #1 was weird to me, #2 was alright and at the end of 3 I was like. " wow, this is something special".

agreed. Image #1's were the things to pick up last year, not this year. There are no SAGAH's being released this year. I disagree! It's a little premature to state that somehow Image is done releasing quality books/stories. Saga IS a GREAT book but it's not the ONLY good book out by Image at this moment nor does it mark the end of great books for the coming year. At least there is a company out there that not only cares about the quality of the stories but also what they choose to print the material upon. Agree. Three weeks into 2013, it's a bit early to say we won't see any great books from Image. whoa whoa whoa. lets not confuse "great books" with "valuable books" they arent always one in the same OK. I think this will happen with every new image title out there. No more small print runs on #1's. And these mass purchases are for flipping only so the market will be flooded from here on out.

I've been thinking.. Enjoy this moment right now guys. I don't think this is going to last. Once the sharks smell this blood and con season starts.. There is going to be so many ordering and image #1's in bulk anything new is going to be very available. Last year at SDCC I was looking for a image hack/slash #1. I could only find one booth, after a long hunt, that had a copy. I'm thinking this year we will see a lot more dealers with moderns.

It will happen if a bunch of people place big orders on one title at once. They are a great retailer, but a small one. It happened to me once with them. On a hot book a looonnngggg time ago. They just didn't have the stock and more than likely had a bunch of people checking out at once. That's the danger of posting your source on the board... Midtown cancelled all of my pending orders and refunded me all of my money because I clicked the wrong shipping option of Dynamic Forces dot com five months previously. When my Dynamic Forces order was cancelled and I was told I was now barred from the site (for choosing the wrong shipping option to Canada) , Midtown cancelled all of my prerelease orders. Seriously. Time for a midtown video jimmy. I feel like if I just posted the e-mails between me and the dynamic forces guy, a painting of how Dynamic Forces makes no sense would be painted. "...could I just pay the difference? I've been waiting four months for this item to be processed and I really want the sketch cover signed by John Romita!..." "no. Your orders will not be processed. All the best." "...This is bad customer services..." "No. Your orders were never processed. All the best" My point is that, right now there are no online comic companies that I regularly use /trust. I have a bedlam #1 9.8 that I ordered from them months ago that hasn't processed yet. I wish they WOULD cancel that order.

Revival looks amazing on my ipad also. Saga #1 is free on there. Even if you don't buy any, go check it out if you have an ipad. Very cool.
