Today's ECCC haul, starting with Marvel. Pretty sure I already have a Crazy #1 somewhere, and love the Time Bandits cover on the 86:

EC's are scarce on the ground at ECCC this year, other than the humor books. But was able to find at least one EC I didn't have and could afford, at least. A first issue, even:

And the $3.95 plus shipping wonder finally arrived. I do enjoy treasury editions.

Harley had it as a 6.0, I believe. Still cheap, though. I think a lot of the four colors are under appreciated these days, possible because they look like high numbers

To borrow the quote from the Lost SOTI site: "Typical is one called 'Your United States'. " He unsurprisingly exaggerates when he claims nearly every page has a violent scene, but he wasn't entirely wrong in the general case that the creators seemed to be looking for "exciting" images to a somewhat disproportionate degree.

As always, agreed that finding a SOTI book is a thrill. Mind you, I've got about 8 total, so I've got more room to grow the collection than @SOTIcollector. Anyway, found cheap today at ECCC:

Congratulations, it's an awesome book! I just looked up what I paid for my copy: $75 in 2018. The pulp market has just exploded the last few years!
