  1. There are three Swordquest mini comics made by DC and the third is by far the rarest.
  2. It's a rare mini-comic made by DC in the 1980s to go with an Atari game called Centipede.
  3. 100% sure. Other collectors have them. Overstreet is totally wrong in what they say.
  4. Yes it's really rare. Have you got the Centipede ??
  5. I owe half my rare promos to you. You are the ABSOLUTE KING when it comes to unearthing rare DC promos including loads we never knew existed. You deserve some sort of award.. Number One Promo Turner-Upper.
  6. While we're doing so well, here are the eleven Superman-Tims that I need. I'm surprised I still need eleven after so many years. I never thought they were that rare. Every week after every week there are some on e-Bay, so it's amazing I still need so many SUPERMAN TIM - August 42, September 42, November 42, December 42, January 43, February 43, April 43, November 43, January 44, December 45, August 46
  7. If you PM your address to me, I will send the two to you before you part with the Supergear, just to make sure you're totally happy with them.
  8. Done deal. The New Adventure 14 is so so so rare.
  9. Just The Flash. I would love others but as they're such unique one-offs, used to procure copyrights, any I ever get are an unexpected bonus. I simply can't afford them.
  10. I did give up, between 1986 and 2002 apart from the odd buying spree in the intervening sixteen years. But my collecting between 1973 and 1986 was avid indeed. In 1986 after Crisis On Infinite Earths came out, I lost interest in the new comics and couldn't stomach reading them any more. The DC universe changed too much for my taste. I was a child of the Silver Age.
  11. I answered this in detail just a few pages back, about Mike Lake and Alan Austin.
  12. I collected the only comics that ever interested me. There is really no more to say about it than that. As a kid I turned my nose up at Marvels and bought DCs.
  13. I think 4 is the tough one. But we're talking relative here. New Adventure 13, 17, 26 and 27 are tough. So is Double Action 2 , Big Book Of Fun Comics, Buzzy 70 and Girls Love 5. Those books DEFINE the word "tough". As do promos like The Aquateers, the Action Comics Vigilante giveaway, and Dirt-Minator.
  14. There were one a month from August 1942 to (if my memory serves me correct) May 1950
  15. Yes I would, although one Danger Trail is quite scarce.
  16. Green Lantern 30 and Flash 43 The Showcase Adam Strange Adventures On Other Worlds (but not all that hard really) Numbers 17, 23, 25 and 27.
  17. Please can we keep this thread to DCs ?? I don't mind answering questions and telling stories of the past, but if it degenerates into what happened four years ago, I'll be off all over again. I'm happy to keep posting up pics and discussing rare promos and have found this thread fascinating and very civil over the last few weeks. I used to hate these boards, but now it's all changed for the better.
  18. Considering that it was a FREE promotional giveaway to promote the Cartoon Network kids channel, then no, I don't suppose it was a big seller in its day.
  19. When it comes to my comics, I'm a neatness freak, and every single one is in meticulous order, all the runs are in Bill Cole Arklights, and all positioned perfectly symmetrical. The thought of risking moving them and having to check off every single item and putting them back into order when they look so pristine and beautiful the way they are right now, just brings me out in hives at the mere thought. So.... NO !!!!!!!
